  • Patent number: 7933311
Abstract: Disclosed is a data transmission process using repetitive sets of spreading sequences, and corresponding transmitted and receiver. According to the invention, spectrum spreading is done on symbol packets using set of pseudo-random sequences used repetitively. This thus reduces interference between symbols. The present invention is applicable to digital communications by spectrum spreading.

Date of Patent: April 26, 2011
    Assignee: Commissariat A l'Energie Atomique
Inventors: Norbert Daniele, Sébastien Leveque, Dominique Noguet, Jean-René Lequepeys
  • Patent number: 7532691
Abstract: This invention relates to parallel architecture digital filter and signal receiver with spectrum spreading using such a filter, the filter may have p shift registers (Rp, Ri) with means for calculating a weighted sum of stored samples in the registers, p weighted sums (Skp, Ski) may be obtained and recombined with number p being, for example, equal to 2.

Date of Patent: May 12, 2009
Inventors: Sébastien Leveque, Norbert Daniele, Didier Lattard, Bernard Piaget
  • Patent number: 7428274
Abstract: A receiver of a frequency-modulated signal representing a digital signal includes a down conversion unit or frequency translation unit to lower the frequency of the frequency-modulated signal and a digital demodulator to regenerate the digital signal from the lowered-frequency signal. The receiver furthermore includes a counter circuit to determine the number of periods of a reference signal from the frequency translation unit during a period of the lowered-frequency signal. The digital demodulator includes a computer unit to compute the period of the lowered-frequency signal from the number of periods of the reference signal.

  • Patent number: 6813308
Abstract: A receiver for transmission and parallel interference has multiple access interference suppression stages having K channels, each comprising a correlation device corresponding to a particular pseudorandom sequence and interference generation and suppression device. Each stage delivers to the following stage signals at least partly freed from multiple access interferences. A decision stage receives the signals from the channels of the preceding suppression stage. Each decision stage has a correlation device corresponding to one of the pseudorandom sequences and decision device to deliver data. Devices for producing synchronization signals can control the interference suppression and the decision device. The devices producing the synchronization signals have components placed in the channels of the final stage.
