  • Publication number: 20100275892
Abstract: Internal combustion petrol engine comprising an engine block (2) connected to an intake circuit (3) including a compressor (6) and an exhaust circuit (4) including a turbine (13) which drives the compressor, the internal combustion engine including an exhaust gas recirculation circuit (11) which is connected to the exhaust circuit downstream of the turbine and is connected to the intake circuit upstream of the compressor, the recirculation circuit comprising a cooler. Method of managing such an engine.

  • Publication number: 20090020098
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for control of fuel injection for an internal combustion engine, in particular with direct fuel injection, comprising at least one cylinder (10), one piston (30) running in said cylinder, with a projection (34) arranged in a concave bowl (32), a fuel injector (22) and a combustion chamber (26).

  • Publication number: 20070157603
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of controlling the intake of an internal-combustion engine comprising at least two groups (12, 14) of at least one cylinder (C1-C4) wherein a feed is admitted for operation of said engine, and an exhaust line (40, 94, 100) comprising at least one exhaust gas depollution means (42, 96, 102). According to the invention, the method consists, while the engine runs at low speeds and/or at low torques, in evaluating the total feed to be admitted into the cylinders to operate the engine, in admitting a greater proportion of the total feed into one (12) of the groups of cylinders (C1, C4) than in the other (14) group of cylinders (C2, C3) so as to achieve an exhaust gas temperature increase allowing to speed up the rise in temperature of depollution means (42, 96, 102).
