  • Patent number: 9291714
Abstract: According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a method for checking the integrity of position information output by a satellite (GNSS) positioning device (1) including a bank (3) of Kalman filters each producing a navigation solution (dX0, dXi, dXn) from raw measurements of signals transmitted by the satellites, characterized in that the method comprises the steps of, for each filter in the bank: (i) correcting the navigation solution produced by the filter according to an estimate of the impact of a failure of a satellite on the navigation solution; (ii) calculating a cross-innovation reflecting the deviation between an observation corresponding to a raw measurement from a satellite not used by the filter and an a posteriori estimate of said observation from the navigation solution produced by the filter and corrected in accordance with step (i); and (iii) performing a statistical test of the cross-innovation in order to declare whether or not the satellite, the raw measurement of which is not used b

  • Patent number: 9285482
Abstract: A method for monitoring the integrity of position information outputted by a hybridization device that includes a bank (3) of Kalman filters, each filter developing a hybrid navigation solution from inertial measurements calculated by a virtual platform (2) and from raw measurements of signals transmitted by a satellite constellation which are outputted by a global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The method includes, for each satellite of the constellation of calculating a cross-innovation of the satellite that reflects the deviation between an observation, corresponding to a raw measurement from the satellite, and an a posteriori estimation of said observation that is developed through a Kalman filter and does not use the raw measurement from the satellite; carrying out a statistical test of the cross-innovation to ascertain whether or not the satellite is malfunctioning.

  • Patent number: 9000978
Abstract: A process for determination of navigation parameters of a carrier by a hybridisation device comprising a bank (3) of Kalman filters, each working out a hybrid navigation solution from inertial measurements calculated by a virtual platform (2) and raw measurements of signals emitted by a constellation of satellites supplied by a satellite-positioning system (GNSS), characterised in that it comprises the steps of: determination for each satellite of at least one probability ratio between a hypothetical breakdown of given type of the satellite and a hypothetical absence of breakdown of the satellite, declaration of a breakdown of given type on a satellite as a function of the probability ratio associated with this breakdown and of a threshold value, estimation of the impact of the breakdown declared on each hybrid navigation solution, and correction of hybrid navigation solutions as a function of the estimation of the impact of the breakdown declared.
