  • Publication number: 20230167248
Abstract: An anthracene-functionalized dual cross-linked glycan-based hydrogel with reversible crosslinking, a preparation method thereof, and a use thereof for delivery system of bioactive molecules are provided. The pH responsive and dual crosslinked anthracene incorporated glycan-based hydrogel is prepared via a visible light induced photo-polymerization and a UV light induced photo-dimerization using N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone as an accelerator, Eosin-Y as a photo-initiator, and Triethanolamine as a co-initiator.

  • Publication number: 20210353772
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of making a biocompatible micro-swimmer, the method comprising the steps of: providing a photo cross-linkable biopolymer solution; adding magnetic particles and a photo initiator to the photo cross-linkable biopolymer solution to form a 3D-printable solution; applying a laser with a variable focus directed at the 3D-printable solution; varying the focus of the laser through the 3D-printable solution to form the biocompatible micro-swimmer with a predefined shape; and applying a chemical linker to the biocompatible micro-swimmer having the pre-defined shape. The invention further relates to such a micro-swimmer and to a method of using such a micro-swimmer.

  • Patent number: 10022446
Abstract: A pH-responsive hybrid hydrogel, namely poly(Methacrylic acid-grafted-Ethylene Glycol) P(MAA-g-EG) cross-linked with Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) polymer and photopolymerized by visible light. The resulting polymer turned out to have better integrities, high swelling ratios, pH-responsive and biocompatible character. Also the visible-light-induced synthesis of these pH-responsive composite wherein eosin Y is used as photoinitiator and triethanolamine is used as a co-initiator is also disclosed in the invention.
