  • Publication number: 20240150699
Abstract: An electroporation system including one or more of a pipette, a pipette tip, a pipette docking assembly, and a pulse generator. The pipette docking assembly includes a pipette station, a pipette station guard, and a reservoir (e.g., a buffer tube). A method for transfecting a cell with a payload including providing an electroporation system, providing the cell, providing the payload, introducing the cell and the payload into a pipette tip, and electroporating the cell within the pipette tip by operating the electroporation system.

  • Publication number: 20210386287
Abstract: A system for determining refractive error of an eye includes at least two light-emitting diodes (LEDs), an image capture component, and a processor configured to execute instructions to perform operations associated with a vision screening exam. For example, the processor causes each of the two LEDs to emit light to form a combined light that is output to a pupil. The processor causes the image capture component to capture an image depicting the eye while the combined light is being output. The processor determines an eccentricity at a time that the image was captured, corresponding to a simulated source location of the combined light caused by combining the light from the two LEDs. The processor determines an amount of light reflected on the pupil in the image, and a refractive error of the eye based on the eccentricity and the amount of light reflected on the pupil in the image.
