Abstract: A detachable point-of-sale device has a fixed base and a portable electronic device. The fixed base has a supporting base and a connecting base that is tiltable relative to the supporting base. The portable electronic device has a connecting part that is detachably mounted on the connecting base, and a main body part that is tiltable relative to the connecting part. The fixed base can be fixed on a table, such as a checkout counter. Normally, the portable electronic device is mounted on the fixed base to be used as an ordinary point-of-sale device. A screen on the main body part can be tilted in two directions. When the portable electronic device is separated from the fixed base, the user can bring the portable electronic device to other places for use. As a result, the detachable point-of-sale device includes two operation modes.

Abstract: A point-of-sale (POS) system with a detachable base accommodating a printer includes a lower case and an upper case. The lower case has a left edge portion and a right edge portion on which two resilient latching assemblies are respectively mounted. Each resilient latching assembly has a seat and a resilient element that is detachably mounted through the seat and is extendable and retractable. The upper case has a left sidewall and a right sidewall through which two openings are respectively formed. The resilient elements are respectively and detachably mounted through the two openings of the upper case for the upper case and the lower case to be assembled together. As the resilient elements of the resilient latching assemblies can be detachably mounted through the openings of the upper case, the upper case and the lower case for accommodating a printer therein can be easily and efficiently assembled.

The adjustment device includes a support plate and a fixing plate securely mounted on the rear cover of the display. The support plate has two side legs, and the fixing plate has two slide slots for the side legs of the support plate to slidably mount through the slide slots, such that the support plate can be moved up and down and is mounted between the screen and the fixing plate. The side legs of the support plate are pivotally connected with the support arm of the base. Because of the support of the support plate and the slide slots of the fixing plate, the screen can be moved up and down to conveniently adjust a display viewing angle.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for a printer has an upper housing, a base cover mounted under the upper housing, and a connecting seat. A mounting chamber is defined between the base cover and the upper housing. The printer is mounted on the connecting seat and is mounted into the mounting chamber together with the connecting seat, such that the printer and the connecting seat are packaged by the upper housing and the base cover. The mounting assembly and the printer can be mounted in an installation chamber of a cash register. As the printer and the cash register are assembled together as an integral unit, the printer can be stored easily and space occupied by the printer and the cash register is greatly reduced.

Abstract: A computer display with a built-in privacy filter has a display panel, a frame, a privacy filter, a tape and a bezel that includes a transparent panel. With the privacy filter mounted between the transparent panel of the exposed bezel and the display panel, the transparent panel protects the privacy filter from being removed or damaged. With the area of the transparent panel appear smaller than that of privacy filter, the area where the privacy filter is attached to the display panel is hidden. When the transparent panel of the bezel is a touch screen glass, the privacy filter will not have impact on the performance of the touch screen glass given the nature of the design.

The printer with the mounting rails and detachable bracket allows the printing module to be repaired independently without disassembling the touch panel.

Abstract: An information kiosk is disclosed. The information kiosk preferably has a touch-screen LCD display for convenient user interface. The information kiosk has an adjustable support stand for supporting the kiosk for convenient viewing by its users. The support stand also has a nested extension leg, which can be pulled out from stowage within the support stand. The extension leg, when pulled out and locked to the support stand, extends the length of the support stand, thus providing different viewing angles for the kiosk users with different heights, while maintaining the same angle between the support stand and the display head. The hinge, between which the hinge and the display body is connected, has a tension-based movement to prevent the kiosk from unintentional collapse. Ventilation openings are implemented on the upper back side of the kiosk. A barcode scanner is preferably integrally positioned to the top of the LCD display.
