Abstract: A wound dressing with tissue regeneration effect for medical use in the treatment of wounds and burns, which provides protection of the damaged tissue area from external influences and absorption of the damaged tissue fluid, as well as enhancement of tissue regeneration in the damaged tissue area, controlled release of bioactive components in the plant extract, reduction of pore size, while at the same time increasing water holding capacity and air permeability to accelerate healing of the damaged tissue, and a method of production of this wound dressing.
