  • Patent number: 6884360
Abstract: The present invention employs cross-flow to extend operation time of filtration devices and to increase filtration efficiency. The filtration device with cross-flow function consists of a filter, a case for containing the filter and a diffuser. There are an inlet and an outlet set on the case. The diffuser is set inside the filter along longitudinal direction. The diffuser consists of a reducing section, a throat section and a flared section for producing cross-flow so as to prevent the impurities and particles in the fluid to form cake on the inner surface of filter, so the operation time is therefore greatly increased. A drain outlet is set for adjusting the impurities and particles concentrations of the fluid inside the filter for further extending the effective operation time.

  • Patent number: 6119965
Abstract: A hollow-core nozzle structure which can provide solid core beam typically generated by a solid-core nozzle. The hollow-core nozzle structure contains (1) a hollow passage which is in communication with a water inlet connected sideways to the hollow passage; (2) a water outlet at an end of the hollow passage; (3) a bell-shaped stream-guide plate furnished on an outer rim of the water outlet. The stream-guide plate is provided with, in the order away from the outer rim, a plurality of first, second, and third water baffles respectively arranged in a circular manner. The first water baffles are rectangular in shape, the second water baffles are also rectangular shape but with a bevel on one thereof facing inward, and the third water baffles are triangular in shape, so as to cause a portion of sprayed water to be broken into tiny drops which exit the stream-guide plate along a central line and an outer rim of a water beam to form a solid water beam.

  • Patent number: 6079638
Abstract: An improvement for nozzle assembly for resolving the problem of fixed spraying angle of conventional nozzle assemblies. The nozzle assembly of the present invention includes a nozzle insert engageable with a nozzle body, and a cylindrical rubber washer set between them for sealing and enhancing the engagement. The nozzle insert has at least one lug with a semi-spherical bulge located thereon. The nozzle body has at least a locking bridge with a plurality of concave notches formed therein. Turning the nozzle insert, the bulge will engage with one of the notches. Thus the spraying angle is changeable by placing the bulge at different notches. The assembly may be quickly disconnected for maintenance or replacement.
