  • Patent number: 8535094
Abstract: Disclosure relates to an elastic member mounted in a securing part formed at a male shielded connector or a female shielded connector and configured to establish an electrical connection between the male shielded connector and the female shielded connector when the male shielded connector and the female shielded connector are assembled. The elastic member includes a plate spring having a predetermined length; an elastic piece being elastically deformable and formed by bending a portion of one or both sides of the plate spring in the lengthwise direction of the plate spring; and a fixing member formed on the plate spring and configured to prevent the elastic member from separating from the male shielded connector or the female shielded connector when the male shielded connector and the female shielded connector are disassembled.

  • Publication number: 20110045699
Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic member that is installed outside of a terminal contact portion where a male shielded connector is connected to a female shielded connector, and consequently prevents metal powder generated due to its friction with the male shielded connector or the female shielded connector from intruding into the terminal contact portion, and permits easy connection and detachment of the male shielded connector to/from the female shielded connector and stably maintains the connection between the male shielded connector and the female shielded connector, and a shielded connector assembly having the same.

  • Patent number: 7803023
Abstract: A connector for an automobile with high current capability includes a circular terminal and a connector housing. The circular terminal is configured with a cylinder and has a slot formed in an outer periphery of the cylinder at one end and at least one projection formed on the outer periphery at the other end. The connector housing has a cylindrical space for receiving the circular terminal. The cylindrical space has an anti-separation protrusion formed on an inner periphery thereof and coupled with the slot of the circular terminal to prevent separation of the circular terminal. Also, the cylindrical space has at least one anti-rotation groove formed in the inner periphery thereof and engaged with the at least one projection of the circular terminal so as to prevent rotation of the circular terminal. This connector may keep the coupling between the circular terminal and the connector housing in a stable state.

  • Publication number: 20090253283
Abstract: The invention relates to a cable connector assembly for equipment connection, including a cable connector having a connector housing for receiving a cable and a restraining part formed along an outer periphery of the connector housing; and an equipment connection unit having a frame body assembled with the connector housing while surrounding the connector housing, an engaging part engaged with the restraining part of the cable connector, and a fastening means formed in the frame body and configured for connection with an equipment, wherein the equipment connection unit provides a flange function when the cable connector assembly is connected with the equipment. The cable connector assembly can provide connection between a cable and an equipment as well as between cables. Therefore, the present invention eliminates the need that a connector for a cable and a connector for equipment connection should be manufactured separately, thereby considerably reducing the connector manufacturing costs.
