Abstract: An electronic device, a method, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium are disclosed. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a memory, a display, and at least one processor. The memory is configured to store an application. The at least one processor is configured to receive data about a web page through the application using the communication circuit. The at least one processor is also configured to receive an input for creating a shortcut to the web page. The at least one processor is further configured to encrypt at least a part of the data about the web page that includes a uniform resource identifier (URI) of the web page, based on the input. The at least one processor is also configured to create the shortcut to the web page associated with the encrypted data.
