    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a connector enabling a size reduction by simplifying a configuration. A connector 11 includes a housing 21 in which a plurality of shielded cables 14 are held while being partially inserted, and cores of the plurality of shielded cables 14 are connected to a plurality of terminals 13a of a mating connector 13 by connecting the housing 21 to the mating connector 13. The connector 11 includes an electromagnetic shielding shell 22 for covering the outer surface of the housing 21 and a shield terminal 27 to be provided between the plurality of shielded cables 14 in the housing 21, connected to shield members of the plurality of shielded cables 14 and connected to a ground terminal 13b of the mating connector 13 by connecting the housing 21 to the mating connector 13.

    Abstract: In a terminal unit, a male terminal includes a columnar connecting portion having a tapered shape, and a female terminal includes a tubular connecting portion and a resilient member. A facing gap between a first peripheral wall portion and a second peripheral wall portion constituting the tubular connecting portion becomes gradually smaller in an inserting direction of the columnar connecting portion. The first or second peripheral wall portion, includes a contact point portion. With the columnar connecting portion and the tubular connecting portion concentrically arranged, a tip part of the columnar connecting portion is insertable into the tubular connecting portion without contacting the contact point portion, and a press-fit region to be press-fit to the contact point portion is provided on a part of the columnar connecting portion closer to the base end side than the tip part.

A terminal unit is provided with a male terminal and a female terminal. The male terminal includes a male-side curved contact point portion formed using a flat plate fitting and formed by bending the flat plate fitting in a plate thickness direction. The female terminal includes a tubular insertion portion, into which the male terminal is inserted, and female-side curved contact point portions provided in the insertion portion and configured to contact the male-side curved contact point portion. The male-side curved contact point portion and the female-side curved contact point portions, extend in an inserting direction of the male terminal into the insertion portion of the female terminal.
