  • Publication number: 20130242017
Abstract: There is provided a recording apparatus. The recording apparatus includes: a support member which supports a recording medium; a recording head which applies a recording material to one surface of the recording medium supported on the support member; and a fixing unit which fixes the recording material adhered to the one surface of the recording medium transported from the support member, wherein the support member and the fixing unit are arranged to be partly overlapped with each other in an up and down direction.

  • Publication number: 20130038656
Abstract: An image recording apparatus includes a transport unit which transports a medium with a joint portion along a transport path, a head unit which performs recording of a printing image on both the joint portion and a non-joint portion by ejecting ink onto the medium, a heating unit which dries liquid forming the printing image by heating a portion of the medium located at a heating region on the transport path, a detection unit which detects the joint portion, and a controller which controls transporting of the medium by the transport unit so that a heating time of the joint portion in the heating region becomes longer than a heating time of the non-joint portion in the heating region on the basis of a detection signal from the detection unit.

  • Publication number: 20130038669
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a printed matter in which a printed matter is manufactured by print images with consecutive numbers on a medium includes a recording base material, and a separating base material which is provided at a side opposite to the recording base material, and has a joint portion formed on both the recording base material and the separating base material, and the method includes arranging the print image on both the joint portion and non-joint portion in numerical order to be aligned, printing the same image as the image recorded on the joint portion on the unrecorded non-joint portion, cutting a portion of the recording base material from the separating base material, separating the separating base material to which a portion of the recording base material corresponding to the image recorded in the joint portion is adhered.

  • Patent number: 7481883
Abstract: A droplet discharge apparatus that forms a pattern in a desired shape on a base material being processed by discharging liquid having pattern-forming substances, includes a drawing section, inside which the base material moves in one direction, the drawing section having a plurality of droplet discharge heads that are arranged in a direction intersecting with the movement direction of the base material, a supply section for supplying the pre-drawing base material toward the drawing section and a removal section for extracting the post-drawing base material from the drawing section, wherein the drawing section, the supply section, and the removal section are arranged along the one direction, and the base material moves relatively from the supply section side to the removal section side with respect to the plurality of droplet discharge heads in the one direction, being also the direction that intersects the arrangement direction of the plurality of droplet discharge heads, while discharging the liquid by the d

  • Publication number: 20050005996
Abstract: A liquid droplet ejection apparatus which selectively ejects a function liquid from a nozzle array arranged in a function liquid droplet ejection head is made up of: a linear scale which is constituted by a mark array continuously marked on a workpiece; an encoder which is constituted by a linear sensor which faces the linear scale; and a drive control means which controls the driving of the function liquid from the nozzle arrays. The linear scale has a reference mark which shows the position of starting the detection of each of the imaging regions arranged in a perpendicular direction relative to the direction of detection of the linear sensor. The reference mark is marked in a mode which is different from a mode of the other marks.
