    Abstract: An arrangement for supporting and adjusting a seat in a vehicle comprises a part of a floor panel including a floor tunnel which extends in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, a sliding support member mounted on the portion of the floor panel to be movable along the floor tunnel for supporting and sliding the seat, and a seat driving mechanism disposed on the floor tunnel and including a connecting member extending from the floor tunnel to be coupled with the sliding support member for moving the sliding support member along the floor tunnel through the connecting member so as to adjust a position of the seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.
