  • Publication number: 20070122172
Abstract: An image forming method in which an electrostatic latent image is formed by exposure with an exposure light of light scanning means onto an image carrier charged by charging means, visualization of the electrostatic latent image as a toner image, transfer of the toner image onto a transfer member by application of a bias voltage, and removal of the toner remaining on the image carrier following transfer with a cleaning blade, the exposure being initiated by the light scanning means after a position“a” on the image carrier where said bias voltage has been initiated passes the cleaning blade.

  • Publication number: 20070097465
Abstract: A color-drift correcting method in an image forming apparatus includes a first and a second color-drift correcting. The first color-drift correcting includes correcting the color-drift amount in a sub scanning direction and a skew relative to the reference color image being based on each color-drift amount of at least three mark-patterns, each of which mark-pattern is formed each color image, so as to decide a corrected-image line as a virtual image line for each color, assumed when the color images are superposed onto a transfer media. A second color-drift correcting includes correcting the color-drift amount in the sub scanning direction so that the virtual image lines corresponding to each of the colors other than the reference color intersect with the virtual image line of the reference color at at least two points.

  • Patent number: 6400530
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a magnetic head core of a complex magnetic head includes binding a first core material of a U-shaped cross section and a second core material of a flat plate shape to form a tubular core material having two bonded portions between the first and second core materials. Then a plurality of grooves are formed in the tubular core material across one of the bonded portions to form a plurality of track surfaces. The grooves are then filled with a fused glass material, and the other of the bonded portions is removed to form a substantially U-shaped core block having a plurality of track surfaces separated by the glass-filled grooves. The U-shaped core block is then sliced along each of the grooves to obtain a plurality of magnetic head cores. A complex magnetic head manufactured by the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6034846
Abstract: A complex magnetic head in which magnetically separated upper and lower rank core chips are spaced apart and connected to a support block made of a nonmagnetic material in such a way as to be in parallel with each other. Each of the upper and lower rank core chips have first, second and third cores. Magnetic gaps, whose track widths are different from each other, are provided between the first and second cores of one of the upper and lower rank core chips and between the second and third cores of the other of the upper and lower rank core chips, respectively.

Abstract: A magnetic head device is disclosed, including a magnetic circuit having a head core unit, a back core and a coil. The head core unit includes a first core made from a magnetic material and a second core made from a magnetic material. A magnetic gap is formed between the first core and the second core. The back core is made from a magnetic material and is joined to the first core and the second core to form back gaps between the back core and vertical portions of the first and second cores, and the coil is mounted on the first core. The device includes a first holder which is bonded to the first and second cores at two locations, one on the side of the magnetic gap and one on the side of the back gaps, to hold the magnetic circuit. The device further includes a second holder which is bonded to the first and second cores at the magnetic gap side to hold the magnetic circuit, the second holder being substantially in the shape of a rectangular beam.
