    Abstract: The present invention relates to an insulated container used for example as a cooler box, a thermos flask or an insulated lunch box, a suitable insulating material for such a container and a method for its manufacture. The insulated container of the present invention is made with an insulating layer between inner and outer walls of a double walled container with the inner and outer walls joined together as one, and has an insulating material, made by filling a bag with a low thermal conductivity gas comprising at least one of gases such as Xenon, Krypton and Argon, disposed between the inner and outer walls. The method of manufacturing the insulated container involves the steps of inserting a bag into the space of the double walled container, filling the bag inserted into the space with a low thermal conductivity gas, and then sealing the bag.

A method of manufacturing the heated pot is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a cap for a drink container which permits drinking of the drink contained therein without removing the cap. The cap comprises a cover plate which is to cover the upper opening of the drink container and a peripheral wall of the cover plate which is to be fitted to the upper opening edge of the drink container. The cover plate is disposed diagonally in the peripheral wall and has a liquid port at a low position. A plugging member for closing the liquid port is pivotally supported on the upper surface of the cover plate substantially at the center thereof. The peripheral wall has a notch in which the plugging member is to be retracted when the liquid port is closed thereby. The plugging member is locked onto the cover plate when the liquid port is closed by the plugging member, whereas the plugging member is locked onto the peripheral wall when the liquid port is let open.

    Abstract: An oxygen rich air inhaler for use in stress relief and fatigue recovery has a casing, an inlet duct and an exhaust duct. The casing is separated into a compressor chamber and an adsorber chamber by a partition. The inlet duct has an inlet open to an end wall on the side of the adsorber chamber and provided at an upper portion of the adsorber chamber so as to communicate with the compressor chamber. The exhaust duct has an exhaust outlet open to an end wall on the side of the adsorber chamber and provided at a lower portion of the adsorber chamber so as to communicate with the compressor chamber. A suction fan and at least one compressor are disposed in the compressor chamber. At least two adsorbers, which communicate with the compressor via a selector valve, and an oxygen rich air tank, communicating air outlets of the adsorbers, are disposed in the adsorber chamber. An air inlet for the compressor and an exhaust outlet for air desorbed from the adsorbers are disposed downstream of the compressor chamber.

    Abstract: A vacuum bottle of the electric heater type includes a body having a tubular outer shell and a tubular inner shell disposed within the outer shell to form a hermetically sealed thermal insulation vacuum space therebetween. The upper end wall of the connecting member is fixedly hermetically secured to a lower surface of a bottom wall of the inner shell with the apertures therein in communication, and the tubular connecting member is fitted in an aperture of a bottom wall of the outer shell and fixedly hermetically secured thereto adjacent to the open lower end thereof to hold the bottom walls of the inner and outer shells in spaced sealed relation to each other. An electric heater is mounted within the inner shell for heating contents of the inner shell.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an assembly of an elongated container and a plug therefor. The container has defined therein a receiving space for contents, an opening through which the contents are filled into the receiving space and discharged therefrom, and an annular ridge formed at a location spaced from the opening toward the receiving space a predetermined distance. The annular ridge defines a throat having a circumferentially continuous, planar sealing surface extending substantially longitudinally of the container a predetermined distance. The plug is threadedly engageable with the container so as to open and close the opening by axial one end of the plug. An annular resilient sealing member carried on the other axial end of the plug is in sealing contact with the planar sealing surface with the opening being closed by the axial one end of the plug threadedly engaged with the container.
