Patent number: 5608858Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system integrally comprising a CAD system and an electronic filing system. When vector data such as figures and their names are converted to image (raster) data for storage, the system automatically extracts, from the vector data coming from the CAD system, those data that correspond to predetermined character attributes, maximum numeric attributes, primitives of each figure and the topology thereof. The data are set as key-words and are made to correspond to the image data for registration and storage into the electronic filing system. In searching for desired image data, the corresponding key-words are input for data retrieval and output.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 1995Date of Patent: March 4, 1997Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Microsoftware Systems, Inc.Inventors: Yasuo Kurosu, Seiichi Kanema, Hitoshi Tachi, Hajime Uchiyama, Masahiro Okumura, Masaaki Fujinawa, Naoaki Kubushiro, Hirowo Shimizu

Patent number: 5353397Abstract: A drawing data obtained by a CAD device is extended once to an image data on a plane and the extended image data is coded and stored in an electronic file device so that every display can be done by merely reading data stored in the electronic file device, decoding and displaying it. The image data having a plurality of attributes is stored attribute by attribute so that the electronic file device can display only image having attribute or attributes instructed and it is possible to obtain only required image information among various informations contained in a complicated image and thus searching is facilitated.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 1990Date of Patent: October 4, 1994Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihiro Yokoyama, Yasuo Kurosu, Seiichi Kanema, Hajime Uchiyama, Masahiro Okumura, Naoaki Kubushiro, Masaaki Fujinawa, Hirowo Shimizu

Patent number: 5129011Abstract: A filing method and a system for filing image data operate to divide an input image having a dot number larger than a predetermined dot number of a display screen at a fundamental unit equal to the display screen size, to file the divided input images as a plurality of partial image data on an optical disk, and to retrieve the filed images at high speed. The division filing system includes an input image process device for compressing the divided partial image data, and an index generating device, such as a complexity detecting circuit, for extracting either position information of a distinguishable partial image, or address information among the divided partial images. An optical disk device stores either the position information or the address information as well as the compressed image data into an optical disk.Type: GrantFiled: January 23, 1990Date of Patent: July 7, 1992Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Kenichi Nishikawa, Yasuo Kurosu, Seiichi Kanema, Hajime Uchiyama, Masahiro Okumura, Masaaki Fujinawa, Naoaki Kubushiro, Hirowo Shimizu

Patent number: 4958147Abstract: A graphic display processing system is disclosed, in which a two-dimensional pattern or an image of a three-dimensional pattern can be displayed on the display screen of a display device, and moreover it can be rapidly judged whether or not each graphic data on a display list formed in a graphic data buffer corresponds to a pattern in a pattern pick region (namely, pick aperture) set on the display screen. In more detail, display color data in the pick aperture is first read out of a frame memory for storing image data. In a case where an image of a three-dimensional pattern is displayed, depth values in the pick aperture are read out of a Z-buffer for storing depth values with respect to a displayed pattern.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 1988Date of Patent: September 18, 1990Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Seiichi Kanema, Misato Nio, Yasushi Fukunaga, Takehiko Nishida

Patent number: 4733227Abstract: A detector for detecting the radiation state of a display surface is disposed in a cathode ray tube in order to improve the color reproducibility of a color display. Revise order signals as standard signals are applied to obtain a difference signal between the radiation quantity of a color signal that must be displayed originally and the output signal of the detector, and a circuit for compensating for the radiation order signal is disposed in a path through which the radiation order signal is applied to the cathode ray tube.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 1986Date of Patent: March 22, 1988Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Seiichi Kanema, Shigeo Tsujioka

Patent number: 4626838Abstract: An apparatus for filling an interior of a shape to be displayed on a raster scan CRT which reads out a refresh memory. The apparatus includes a memory for storing information of starting points and ending points for filling. The write of a filling color code into the refresh memory is initiated and terminates in response to the filling starting point and the filling ending point, respectively, but inhibited at its memory locations on the contour of the shape. The direction of the filling is perpendicular to the raster scanning of the CRT.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 1983Date of Patent: December 2, 1986Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Shigeo Tsujioka, Seiichi Kanema, Eiji Okamura, Kiyoshi Umezawa, Mitsuo Ooyama, Toshihisa Aoshima, Mitsugu Yoneyama

Patent number: 4580236Abstract: A graphic display apparatus for generating a vector comprises registers for storing a value R of a vector discrimination, a positive increment P and a negative increment N, and flip-flops for storing magnitude information of .DELTA.X, .DELTA.Y, and .DELTA.X and .DELTA.Y. An address counter of a refresh memory is counted up or down in accordance with the contents of those flip-flops. A control circuit for updating the value R of the vector discrimination is also provided, so that the vector can be generated at a high speed. The registers and the flip-flops are constructed in two stages so that data for generating the next vector can be prepared while the current vector is generated.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 1983Date of Patent: April 1, 1986Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Shigeo Tsujioka, Eiji Okamura, Mitsuo Ooyama, Kimiaki Ando, Seiichi Kanema, Mitsugu Yoneyama, Toshihisa Aoshima, Kiyoshi Umezawa
