The electromagnet presses the armature and the rotor against each other based on an electromagnetic attraction force generated when current is supplied through the electromagnet to be coupled with each other in the torque transmittable manner. The silencing member is provided on an outer circumferential portion of the armature to attenuate noise generated by the vibration of the armature in a state where the silencing member is out of contact with any member other than the armature.
