Abstract: A multi-bobbin wire coiling machine in which an indexing jig mounting mechanism is mounted on a vertical rotary shaft adapted to be intermittently rotated for rotation therewith, a plurality bobbin mounting jigs are supported on the jig mounting mechanism in vertically spaced relationship to each other in the longitudinal direction of the mechanism, a plurality of bobbins mounted in the jigs and a plurality of flyers surrounding the bobbins to coil wires about the bobbins.In one embodiment, the jig mounting mechanism comprises a plurality of tables mounted on the rotary shaft in vertically spaced relationship to each other in the longitudinal direction of the shaft, said tables each having a plurality of circumferentially spaced slots in the periphery, and a plurality of slide plates extending through said slots in the tables and each having a plurality of bobbin mounting means secured thereto in vertically spaced relationship to each other in the longitudinal direction of the associated slide plate.
