  • Patent number: 8270822
Abstract: To provide an aircraft use water heater that operates by an aircraft power source of an AC variable frequency mounted in an aircraft, that is small, light-weight, safe, and low power consumption, and that can supply warm water stably. In an aircraft use water heater composed of a tank section for heating liquid stored therein and a controlling section for controlling the heating of the liquid by an aircraft power source, a bottom face of the tank section has a baffle plate and, liquid flowing in the tank section collides against the baffle plate to flow in a different direction parallel to the bottom face and is upwardly moved, while being heated, in the vicinity of a helical coil-type heater and is taken out through a liquid outlet.

  • Patent number: 7172154
Abstract: The invention provides a catch device of a cockpit door of an aircraft with improved safety. A cockpit door 1 disposed between a cockpit 2 and a passenger cabin 3 in an aircraft comprises a door body 10 that opens toward the cockpit via a hinge 12. A latch device 100 for opening and closing the door is provided on the cockpit side, and a bolt 120 thereof engages with a catch device 200 provided on a wall adjacent to the door. The catch device 200 has a solenoid device which restrains the rotatably disposed catch device by electromagnetic force. When trouble occurs to the solenoid, the restrained status of the catch member is released and the cockpit door may be opened. In such case, a pit pin 300 is inserted to the catch device to restrict rotation of the catch member.

  • Patent number: 6966585
Abstract: A door lock device includes a latch projecting from the side surface of the door, and a hook supported opposite to the latch in a doorjamb such that the hook can turn between a latch detaining position and a latch releasing position. A hook control member turns between a hook detaining position at a locking position and a hook releasing position. First, second and third rocking plates are interlocked with the hook control member. When a solenoid actuator rod engaging with the third rocking plate projects upward to fasten the door lock device, the third rocking plate is turned clockwise by a pin, and the second rocking plate having a pin pressed against the third rocking plate turns clockwise. Conversely, when the rod is retracted the door lock device is unfastened.
