The driving evaluation method, on the basis of motion data (S2) of a mobile body, calculates an evaluation index and performs driving evaluation, and is characterized in obtaining, from the motion data, evaluation indices A, B, D, and E, which are functions of an acceleration energy Ei injected into the mobile body and a motion distance Li of the mobile body and which have a positive correlation with either one of the acceleration energy or the motion distance and a negative correlation with the other.
