  • Publication number: 20070212144
Abstract: When a printing device inputs image data from a memory card, the printing device prints an order sheet whereon are arranged a chart of the image data and setting entry fields for filling in a variety of settings for generating a movie based on these image data. The user uses various marking fields provided on the order sheet to specify the display times for the various image data and the effects to be performed on the various image data. When the printing device uses a scanner to read in the filled-out order sheet, movie data is generated based on the content that is set using this order sheet. • Publication number: 20070213175
Abstract: A control device of a vehicle which switches a lockup clutch to an operating state depending upon vehicle conditions determines switching of the lockup clutch from lockup-ON switching lines established when the lockup clutch is in an engaged state, or from lockup-OFF switching lines established when the lockup clutch is in a released state. When switching of the lockup clutch is determined based on one of the lockup-ON switching lines and the lockup-OFF switching lines, a determination based on the other switching lines is selected as an effective determination about switching once the same switching of the operating state as that determined based on the above-indicated one of the switching lines is determined based on the other switching lines.

  • Publication number: 20070214296
Abstract: The invention provides an electronic device having a structure operable by the power of a battery pack. The electronic device includes: an authenticating section that authenticates a battery pack connected so as to supply power to determine whether the battery pack is a genuine product; a user interface; and a controller for controlling the electronic device. The controller tries authentication of the battery pack connected so as to supply power with the authentication section. When the battery pack has been authenticated, the discharging of the battery pack is enabled. When the battery pack has not been authenticated, the controller requests the user to input recognition whether the battery pack is a genuine product through the user interface, and changes the control for the battery pack between when the user inputs, in response to the request, the recognition that the battery pack is a genuine product and when the user inputs the recognition that the battery pack is not a genuine product.

  • Publication number: 20070211543
Abstract: A semiconductor device including a large capacity non-volatile memory and at least one random access memory, said the access time of said device being matched to the access time of each random access memory. The semiconductor memory device is comprised of: a non-volatile memory FLASH having a first reading time; a random access memory DRAM having a second reading time which is more than 100 times shorter than the first reading time; a circuit that includes a control circuit connected to both the FLASH and the DRAM and enabled to control accesses to those FLASH and DRAM; and a plurality of I/O terminals connected to the circuit. As a result, FLASH data is transferred to the DRAM before the DRAM is accessed, thereby matching the access time between the FLASH and the DRAM. Data is written back from the DRAM to the FLASH as needed, thereby keeping data matched between the FLASH and the DRAM and storing the data.

  • Patent number: 7267099
Abstract: A multicylinder engine intake system includes: first and second throttle bodies; bypasses provided in the first and second throttle bodies and having downstream ends opened to intake paths on downstream sides of throttle valves; and a common bypass control valve which opens and closes the bypasses. The bypass control valve is mounted on the first throttle body. Downstream ends of the bypasses opened in the first and second throttle bodies are formed as throttle holes. The diameter of the throttle hole on the side of the first throttle body is smaller than the diameter of the throttle hole on the second throttle body. Thus, it is possible to equalize amounts of first idling air supplied to a plurality of cylinders irrespective of arrangement of the cylinders in an engine even if lengths of a plurality of bypass downstream paths are not equal to each other, while the bypass control valve is mounted on any of the throttle bodies.
