Abstract: An electronic component built-in wiring board includes a substrate having a cavity, an electronic component accommodated in the cavity of the substrate and having pads on a surface of the component, a coating insulating layer formed on the substrate such that the insulating layer is covering the component and has via holes, via conductors formed in the via holes such that the via conductors are penetrating through the insulating layer, and a resin coating formed between the component and the insulating layer and having through holes such that the through holes are partially exposing the pads in the via holes and that the coating has adhesion to the component that is stronger than adhesion of the insulating layer to the component. The via conductors are formed in the via holes and the through holes such that the via conductors are connected to the pads on the surface of the component.

Abstract: A transaction processing method is provided for a transaction management system which processes transactions using settlement cards. In the transaction processing method, a transaction process is executed based on individual control information that is input at each transaction and transaction information for the transaction. A judgment is made based on the transaction information whether or not the transaction satisfies at least one count-up condition indicating a predetermined range of transaction types. When the transaction meets the count-up condition, numerical information indicative of the number of transactions satisfying the count-up conditions is added. A determination is made whether or not a numerical value represented by the numerical information after the addition is within a range specified by extraction conditions.

Abstract: In a financial report distribution system of the present invention, an event and schedule information database that stores event and schedule data indicating independently occurring changes in a market environment is provided in an analysis center. Independently occurring events in a stock market, such as stock transfer, merger, and acquisition are defined for each user. The financial report distribution system is equipped with an event-ready function: whenever such events have occurred, a merging DB in the system is updated, and a sequence of processes for the user from information processing through distribution of the processed information is automatically activated.

Abstract: An electronic settlement system processes settlements that are conducted using credit cards through a communication line connecting a server of a credit card company to card-processing devices of member stores or terminals of customers. The electronic settlement system includes a device that provides personal information of customers to member stores based on the agreement by the customers to provide such personal information, and a device that provide the customers with preferred services either from the credit card company or the member stores in exchange for the personal information provided. Furthermore, the electronic settlement system may includes a device at the card company to receive fees for providing the member stores with the personal information of the customers. The electronic settlement system enables the customers to receive services, the member stores to utilize accurate personal information, and the card company to receive fees from the member stores.

Abstract: A transaction intermediate service providing technique for intermediating a transaction between transaction requesting parties through a financial institution based on credit information. An intermediate server receives condition information including the credit information and desired level information from a transaction requesting party for registration in a database. The server matches article attributes and essential condition information between transaction requesting parties based on the received information with reference to the database. Then, the server determines the transaction establishment possibility by comparing a priority or a weighting factor assigned to the priority in the desired level information between the transaction requesting parties to find a matching degree, and determining based on the matching degree the possibility that a transaction is established between both parties.

Abstract: There is provided a claim management system capable of enabling a customer utilizing a credit card settlement to determine a financial institution for settlement and a settlement method after the time of purchasing goods. When the customer selects deferred determination of a settlement financial institution and a settlement scheme in utilizing the credit settlement, the claim management system independent of individual financial institutions manages a claim vested in the customer. The claim management system periodically inquires the customer of the determination of a settlement financial institution and a settlement scheme and when the customer selects further deferment of the determination, requests the customer to pay interest.

Abstract: A portable pen pointing device and a processing system with pen pointing device which can be easily used. The portable pen pointing device includes a memory for storing user's specific penmanship/handwriting information and a pen interface unit for supplying the user's specific penmanship/handwriting information to a processor body of the processing system. The processor body interprets a writing sample on the basis of the user's specific penmanship/handwriting information supplied from the portable pen pointing device through the pen interface unit thereof. With this construction, there is no need to read information from a storage medium such as a flexible disk in which a user's specific dictionary for penmanship/handwriting interpretation is written. Also, an operation of establishing a certain writing environment becomes unnecessary or easy.
