Abstract: For a lens barrel that restricts the rectilinear of a lens group using a restricting portion such as a rectilinear key, the light-shielding property for external light, the degree of freedom of design relating to the arrangement of the interlocking section for a cam ring, as well as a change in the relative distance between a front group and a rear group are increased. A lens barrel has a first group (front group) 101 and a second group (rear group) 102 that are movable in the optical axis direction. The first group cam ring 124 is cam-engaged with and held by the holding member (the first group barrel 111) of the first group 101, and the second group cam ring 126 is cam-engaged with and held by the holding member (the second group barrel 112) of the second group 102. The moving cam ring 123 guides the first group cam ring 124 and the second group cam ring 126, and the fixed tube 122 is cam-engaged with the moving cam ring 123 to thereby rotatably support it.

  • Patent number: 7358156
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a compound semiconductor device comprises forming a scribed groove extending from an edge of a major surface of a laminated body to an internal region on the first major surface. The laminated body has the first major surface and a second major surface and is formed by crystal growth of a compound semiconductor multilayer film on a substrate. The scribed groove is shallow at the edge and deep in the internal region. The method may further comprise separating the laminated body into first and second portions separated by a separation plane including the scribed groove by applying load to the second major surface of the laminated body.

  • Patent number: 7190845
Abstract: In an image processing apparatus for processing an image sensed by an image sensing unit which includes an optical system and an image sensing element for converting a subject image formed by the optical system into an electric signal, a group of correction data, which is calculated on the basis of relative positional information of an optical axis of the optical system and a center of an effective range of the image sensing element, for correcting an image sensed by the image sensing unit is read out from a storage unit, and the image is corrected based upon the group of correction data read out from the storage unit. A minimum value of the group of correction data is associated with a position substantially coinciding with the optical axis position on the image sensing element or a position between the optical axis of the optical system and the center and closer to the optical axis.
