  • Publication number: 20140076257
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine that causes a predetermined gas flow in a combustion chamber, discharge plasma generated by a discharge device is caused to effectively absorb energy of an electromagnetic wave emitted from an electromagnetic wave emission device. At a time when a discharge operation and an emission operation are simultaneously performed so as to ignite a fuel air mixture, an emitting position of the electromagnetic wave on an antenna during the emission operation is located downstream of the discharge gap in a direction of the gas flow at the discharge gap so as to face toward the discharge plasma that has been drifted due to the gas flow.

  • Publication number: 20130087555
Abstract: Disclosed is a microwave oven provided with: a heating chamber (2) for housing the object to be cooked therein; a magnetron (7) that oscillates by having a voltage applied thereto, and generates a microwave to be supplied to the heating chamber (2); a radio wave sensor (11) for detecting the microwave generated by the magnetron (7); a timer (15) for measuring an oscillation starting time that is a period of time from when the voltage is applied to the magnetron (7) to when the microwave is detected by the radio wave sensor (11) due to the oscillation; and a notification unit (6) for sending a notice about the timing at which the magnetron (7) should be exchanged. When the oscillation starting time becomes longer than a prescribed period of time, a notice about that fact is sent by the notification unit (6).

  • Publication number: 20120111141
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a compact and low cost cam follower by using a strong stud which does not have severed fiber flow due to cutting process and has a continuous fiber flow throughout all portions. A cam follower is constituted by an outer ring which has an outer track surface in its inner circumference; a stud which has an inner track surface opposed to the outer track surface, a flange portion abutting on one side of the inner track surface, a side plate fitting portion and a mounting shaft portion abutting on another side of the inner track surface in this order, and a fiber flow formed continuously from the flange portion to the inner track surface along their outer circumferences; rolling elements which are arranged between the outer track surface and inner track surface; and an inner side plate which is pressed into the side plate fitting portion to work with the flange portion for limiting axial movement of the outer ring and the rolling elements.

  • Patent number: 8173944
Abstract: In a cooking device for cooking an object to be heated, a first operation section is provided to a lower portion of a door, and a second operation section is provided to an upper portion on a front face of a cooking device body so as to be exposed in spite of the door being opened or closed. Numeric keys for accepting a selection from a plurality of recipes stored in advance and start keys for accepting a start of heating are provided to the first and second operation sections redundantly. Therefore, in a case of when the door closes, the first and second operation sections can be used in parallel, allowing arrangement of many keys to have good operability.

  • Publication number: 20090206076
Abstract: A cooking device comprises: a first electromagnetic generating unit and a second electromagnetic generating unit for generating electromagnetic waves to cook; a heating chamber that introduces electromagnetic waves generated by each of the electromagnetic generating units to heat an object; and fans for cooling each of the electromagnetic generating units, wherein the first electromagnetic generating unit is arranged in an upper position and the second electromagnetic generating unit is arranged in a lower position, a first blowing path and a second blowing path are arranged to guide air blown out by the fans to the peripheries of the respective electromagnetic generating units, and two of the electromagnetic generating units are cooled in the same condition.
