  • Patent number: 9459412
Abstract: An optical connector receptacle of the invention includes: a receptacle housing holding a ferrule; a flange protruding from an external surface of the receptacle housing; an elastic deformation portion extending from the flange along the external surface of the receptacle housing; and a locking protruding portion protruding from the elastic deformation portion to the opposite side of the external surface of the receptacle housing. The optical connector receptacle is attachable to an attachment wall by sandwiching a peripheral edge of an attachment hole of the attachment wall between the flange and the locking protruding portion. A state where the locking protruding portion is locked by the peripheral edge of the attachment hole of the attachment wall is releasable as a result of elastically deforming the elastic deformation portion to be directed to the external surface of the receptacle housing.

  • Patent number: 8757894
Abstract: Provided is an optical connector including: a ferrule housing; a coupling, wherein the housing is insertable into the coupling; a coupling engagement member provided at a rear of the housing; and a boot formed to accommodate an optical fiber therethrough and extending rearward from the coupling engagement member. The optical connector is moveable into a first position by pressing the boot in a forward direction, thus exerting a forward pressure on the coupling engagement member and into a second position by pulling the boot in a rearward direction, thus exerting a rearward pressure on the coupling engagement member. In the first position, the coupling engagement member abuts the housing, such that the forward pressure on the coupling engagement member is exerted on the housing. In the second position, the coupling engagement member engages the coupling such that the rearward pressure on the coupling engagement member is exerted on the coupling.

  • Patent number: 8740473
Abstract: An optical connector includes: an engaging member having a pair of elastic pieces that can be engaged with locking portions on both sides of a receiving-side optical connector; and a movable tubular housing externally fitted to the engaging member, wherein the pair of elastic pieces approaches each other by an engagement with the locking portions on both sides of the receiving-side optical connector, and thereby, the housing becomes movable forward with respect to the portion of the engaging member that engages with the locking portions, and wherein an engagement state between the elastic pieces and the locking portions on both sides of the receiving-side optical connector is maintained as the pair of elastic pieces abuts an inside of the housing thereby regulating a movement in a direction of being separated from each other when the housing has moved forward with respect to the engaging member.

  • Patent number: 7970535
Abstract: When moving a vehicle forward to park, a swept path during a period of parking operation is stored in memory. The vehicle is parked as forward parking, in which the front of the vehicle faces the dead end of a parking space of a side-by-side parking lot. In starting the vehicle from the parking space, an assist start switch is turned on to thereby cause a control unit to compute a rearward exit method to move the vehicle rearward to thereby exit from the parking space by referring to surrounding information on surroundings of the vehicle and the stored swept path. A display device is then caused to display the computed rearward exit method to notify a driver of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4802993
Abstract: A method of treating liquid wastes containing heavy metal chelate compounds which comprises reducing the pH of liquid wastes containing the heavey metal chelate compounds to 4 or less, adding iron polysulfate or at least one heavy metal ion selected from a source of Fe.sup.++, Fe.sup.+++, Cu.sup.++, Ni.sup.++ and Zn.sup.++ other than the iron polysulfate to form an iron chelate compound, then forming a solution containing Ca.sup.++ ions at pH 9 or more, and flocculating to precipitate thereby separating the resulting heavy metal hydroxides. The method gives a high heavy metal and COD removal rates, as well as showing good separability for flocks upon flocculating treatment.
