  • Patent number: 8248219
Abstract: Information is displayed by irradiating a visible light on a specific position based on at least one of vehicle state information, vehicle surrounding information, and vehicle interior information. For example, the visible light is irradiated on a target switch based on signals indicating an on/off state of a headlamp operation switch and an on/off state of a key switch. A user 5 can easily confirm the target switch and unerringly operate the target switch. A visible light irradiator 6 is arranged in a vehicle compartment and irradiates the visible light to display information in the vehicle compartment. The information can be provided for the user 5 in a novel manner.

  • Publication number: 20100250453
Abstract: A remote monitoring system includes an operating data receiving device, a failure report transmitting section, a new failure determining section, a repair progress data generating section and a repair progress updating section. The operating data receiving device receives failure data from a facility device or a management device. The failure report transmitting section transmits a failure report to a concerned party. The new failure determining section determines whether or not the failure data are new. The repair progress data generating section generates repair progress data using repair progress of the failure as a first state when the failure data are new. The repair progress updating section is capable of updating the repair progress of the repair progress data from the first state to a second state. The failure report transmitting section stops transmission of the failure report when the repair progress is the second state.

  • Publication number: 20080198335
Abstract: A visible laser beam projector is arranged to provide information to passengers in a vehicle compartment by projecting a visible laser beam onto a portion in the compartment. The visible laser beam projector is arranged in front of an inner mirror of the compartment and projects the visible laser beam to only a front end portion on the upper surface of an instrument panel of the compartment. Thus, the visible laser beam is allowed to be projected in high intensity while suppressing the probability of its adverse effect on eyes of passengers in the compartment.

  • Patent number: 5574416
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay is composed of a coil wound around magnetic core, a U-shaped magnetic pole member connected to an end of the magnetic core and provides a space, a yoke member connected to the other end of the magnetic core, an armature movably connected to the yoke and disposed in the space, a permanent magnet secured to the armature near the magnetic core and supporting member supporting the armature. Since the permanent magnet is disposed near the magnetic core, magnetic flux of the permanent magnet can be utilized effectively and, therefore, the size of the relay can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 4922782
Abstract: In a two-arm type manipulator, it is very rare that two arms develop trouble simultaneously due to malfunction of motors and/or cables. In view of the above fact, motors for actuating manipulator joint mechanisms and cables connected between the motors and the manipulator frame are removably mounted on the shoulder section of the frame of the manipulator. Further, the first arm is so arranged as to be accessible to the second shoulder section or the second arm is so arranged as to be accessible to the first shoulder section. Therefore, it is possible to allow an access of one manipulator arm to the other disabled manipulator elements (motors and/or cables) for removal and replacement of the disabled elements with new elements without aid of another manipulator, in particular, where the manipulator is equipped in atomic facilities which refuse access, thus saving equipment investment.

  • Patent number: 4726248
Abstract: When an operator moves the grip member in the first bending direction x or in the second bending direction y or in the third twisting direction z, the three motions are detected by three sensing means independently to drive a slave manipulator in the same way. The master manipulator comprises four members of a first lever pivotable around the axis X, a second lever pivotable around the axis Y, a connecting member, and a link member, which forms a transformable parallelogram with three universal joints as joints. To detect only the third twisting motion z, the above mechanism may be sufficient. However, to detect other two bending motions x and y simultaneously, the master manipulator is further provided with a bending motion transform assembly and a spherical bearing assembly.
