  • Patent number: 5366549
Abstract: A method is provided for making a fiber-reinforced slag gypsum cement lightweight hardened product. The method consists essentially of mixing (1) from 5 to 140 parts by weight of aggregates having a maximum size of not larger than 2000 .mu.m to (2) 100 parts by weight of a mixture which comprises 100 parts by weight of Portland cement, (3) from 20 to 350 parts by weight of slag fine powder which has a fineness ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 cm.sup.2 /g as Blaine's specific surface area, (4) from 0 to 20 parts by weight of lime, (5) from 20 to 100 parts by weight of calcium aluminate and gypsum fine powder, (6) 0.01 to 1.5 parts of a setting retardant; mixing water, prefoamed foams and reinforcing fibers with the mixture to obtain a slurry; subjecting the slurry to molding to obtain a molded product; removing the molded product to obtain a hardened product; and curing the hardened product with steam.

  • Patent number: 4588342
Abstract: An IC magazine supply system including a plurality of rows of side by side magazine stackers each holding a vertical stack of IC magazines each holding an array of IC packages therein, guide bars located beneath the magazine stackers for receiving the IC magazines as they move downwardly, a moving section receiving the IC magazines when it moves downwardly, moving transversely while holding the IC magazines, discharging the IC magazine located at a leading end while transferring the rest of the IC magazines to the guide bars and thereafter moving transversely in an opposite direction, and a plurality of sensors mounted on the bottom of each one of the plurality of rows of magazine stackers for sensing the condition of movement of the IC magazines.

  • Patent number: 4408034
Abstract: A method for curing an isocyanate group-containing compound, which comprises treating with a tertiary amine in a vapor-phase state an isocyanate compound having in one molecule not less than two isocyanate groups linked to an aromatic nucleus through a methylene group or an isocyanate-terminated urethane resin obtained by the reaction thereof with an active-hydrogen containing compound. The isocyanate compounds or isocyanate-terminated urethane resins are allowed to cure and dry for a shortened period of time ranging from about 1 to 10 minutes. The method of this invention can be advantageously employed in field, such as continuous painting and printing.

  • Patent number: 4099638
Abstract: Glass bottles, suitable as containers for drinks, such as beer and fruit juice, are coated with a single layer of a thermally cured material formed of a powdery composition comprising a mixture of (i) a blocked organic polyisocyanate and (ii) a hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer and/or a carboxyl-modified version of said hydrolyzed copolymer. The coated bottles are highly effective in the prevention of scattering of glass fragments in the event of breakage and excellent in clarity, alkali resistance, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and weathering quality.

  • Patent number: 4038304
Abstract: A polyurethane prepolymer composition comprising (1) not less than 0.65 by weight of the idealized adduct from trimethylolpropane with 3 moles of 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylisocyanate and (2) not more than 0.05 by weight of 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylisocyanate relative to the whole composition is very suitable for an isocyanate component of a two-package urethane coating and gives a coating film having excellent gloss, weathering resistance, adhesivity and impact resistance.
