  • Publication number: 20240146153
Abstract: An electric motor includes a shaft, a rotor, a stator, a first bracket, a second bracket, a bypass definer, a first guide, and a second guide. The bypass definer defines an internal air bypass located radially outward from the stator for internal air to flow through. The first guide transfers heat transferred from the internal air passing through inside a plurality of first partition walls connecting the internal air bypass and an internal space to external air and guides the external air to an external air passage. The second guide transfers heat transferred from the internal air passing through inside a second partition wall connecting the internal air bypass and an internal space to the external air and guides the external air outside.

  • Publication number: 20230223637
Abstract: A battery frame includes a pair of flat spring plates, a pair of pressing plates, and connecting members connecting the pair of flat spring plates. Each of the flat spring plates includes first regions and a second region. The second region is located inward of the first regions in the stacking direction of a battery cell stack. The connecting members are attached to the flat spring plates via the first regions, and the pressing plates are attached to the flat spring plates via the second regions.

  • Patent number: 8511261
Abstract: Disclosed is a piston cooling device wherein the cooling efficiency of a piston is improved by oil injected from an oil jet and supplied to a cooling passage provided in the piston, and the amount of cooling oil is reduced when an internal combustion engine is operated at maximum output. The piston cooling device is provided with a piston for an internal combustion engine, in which a circumferential passage and a cooling passage having an inlet passage and an outlet passage are provided, and an oil jet for injecting oil from an injection port to the inlet passage. The oil jet injects oil at every stroke of the piston so that a two-phase plug flow composed of gas and oil is formed in the cooling passage at least when an internal combustion engine is operated at maximum output.

  • Patent number: 7387101
Abstract: An oil level sensor for detecting an oil level is arranged in an engine oil pan. The oil level sensor includes a mounting section and a sensing section. An air hole is formed at an upper end of a cover member of the sensing section. The air hole is surrounded by a tubular portion of a shield member attached to a baffle plate of the oil pan. Therefore, any splashed engine oil in the oil pan is restricted from entering the cover member of the sensing section through the air hole. Also, a clearance (?) for venting air is formed between the tubular portion and the baffle plate.
