  • Patent number: 4978148
Abstract: A multi-passage tube coupling for coupling a plurality of parallel or concentric tubes or tube passages of a multi-passage tube for supplying a fluid to actuators. The coupling comprises a body and a coupling member, the body having as many passages or holes as the number of the tubes or tube passages of the multi-passage tube. At least one of the tubes or tube passages is coupled to the corresponding actuator through a passage defined in the coupling member.

  • Patent number: 4823840
Abstract: A changeover valve has a valve body formed on a valve rod in such a manner as to be detached from forming molds and easily and securely mounted on a projection formed on the valve rod. The valve body is bisected at the center of the projection on the valve rod and has a mechanism for effectively preventing the downward penetration of compressed air from the edge of the bisected segment. The changeover valve has a valve rod carrying a valve body that switches the flow of fluid between individual ports by coming in and out of contact with two opposite valve seats. The valve rod has an annular projection on which the valve body of elastic substance is to be fitted. While a first annular groove is provided on each side of the annular projection, a second annular groove is cut at the center of the annular projection. The valve body is bisected into two segments that are individually mounted on both sides of the second groove.

  • Patent number: 4718451
Abstract: An improvement to reduce the size of a directional control valve by providing a plurality of pilot spool valves in a single valve casing. A plurality of valve mechanisms are juxtaposed in a monolithic valve casing by individually inserting valve members in a plurality of parallel valve bores provided in the valve casing. A plurality of cylinders corresponding to the valve bores are pierced in an intermediate plate mounted on the valve casing from that face which comes in contact with the valve casing. The cylinders communicate with each other by means of grooves cut in the aforementioned contacting face and open into the atmosphere through a relief port. The adjoining cylinders are thus brought closer, and the valve bodies are driven by pilot fluid pressure that act on the pistons fitted in the individual cylinders.

  • Patent number: 4643393
Abstract: There is described a ultra-miniature electromagnetic valve assembly smaller than 1 mm in diameter of inlet and outlet ports and having a valve casing of approximately of 10 mm in plan view side length, the valve assembly of the type formed by connecting separately fabricated valve casing and electromagnetic operating section and comprising: an inlet port and an outlet port provided on one side surface of the valve casing; locking projections provided on the opposite side surfaces of said valve casing; and an outer shell member for the electromagnetic operating section, having a notched portion at the inner end of one of side surfaces thereof to evade the inlet and outlet ports and provided with locking windows on the opposite sides of the notched portion and on the other side surface, the locking windows being engageable with the locking projections on the valve casing to connect the electro-magnetic section thereto.

  • Patent number: 4611631
Abstract: In a change-over valve, a valve member consists of a poppet type closure member. A pair of supporting rods are connected to the opposite end portions of the closure member. Guide members made of synthetic resin are connected to the opposite end portions of the supporting rods in order to guide the valve member upon changing over in the directions of fluid flow passages. The guide members prevent the closure member of the valve member from inclined and unstable seating against the valve seats.

  • Patent number: 4476451
Abstract: The solenoid actuator of this invention is provided with a magnetic flanged member for reinforcing the bobbin structure and reducing the magnetic resistance having a flanged portion and a cylindrical portion and inserted said cylindrical portion, whose inner surface is coated with a thin film made of feeble or non-magnetic and wear-resistant material, into the central aperture in a non-magnetic reel-shaped bobbin wound therearound with an energizing coil, and a movable core inserted into the central aperture in the bobbin is guided along the cylindrical portion of the flanged member, whereby the frictional abrasion caused by the sliding movement between the cylindrical portion of the flanged member and the movable core is suppressed and the frictional force caused by the uneven abutment between the outer surface of the movable core and the inner surface of the cylindrical portion of the flanged member is made relatively small to suppress the reduction of the attraction force between the stationary core and th

  • Patent number: 4442864
Abstract: An electromagnetic switching valve wherein an appropriate relation is set for the resilient forces between a spring for actuating a valve body that closes or releases the passage of fluid and a spring for actuating a movable core that is incorporated with the valve body and moved by electromagnetic operation force, thereby providing a power saving structure with no additional components and increased fluid discharging capacity.
