  • Publication number: 20080016451
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a 3D(three dimensional)-matrix arranging portion and a luminance/transmittance display controller portion. When a plurality of contents are list-displayed, the 3D-matrix arranging portion arranges the plurality of contents in a 3D-matrix-like form (“3D-matrix,” hereinbelow) in accordance with predetermined three axes. The 3D matrix includes a plurality of planes each containing a group of contents of the plurality of contents. The luminance/transmittance display controller portion displays on a display portion the respective groups of contents of the plurality of contents arranged in the 3D matrix, in a manner that luminance is gradually reduced in a direction from contents on a front-most plane of the plurality of planes to contents on a rear-most plane, and transmittance is gradually increased in the direction from the contents on the front-most plane to the contents on the rear-most plane.

  • Publication number: 20070268309
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a face image extractor portion, a matching image detector portion, a linking processing portion, a communication address information acquiring portion, and a controller portion. The face image extractor portion extracts a face image of a person in a still image content. The matching image detector portion detects from a memory containing or storing face images and communication address information of respective users the matching face image matching with the extracted face image, which has been extracted by the face image extractor portion. When the matching face image matching with the extracted face image, which has been extracted by the face image extractor portion, is detected by the matching image detector, the linking processing portion performs a linking process to link the extracted face image and communication address information corresponding to the extracted face image and stored in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20070256034
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a content detector portion and a controller portion. The content detector portion detects contents belonging to a same time range from different types of contents each including time information. The controller portion collects the contents belonging to the same time range and having been detected by the content detector portion and that graphically displays on a display portion along a time series, graphical information related to the contents of the respective contents collected in units of the respective time range used when collecting the respective contents.

  • Publication number: 20070256035
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a content detector portion, a display controller portion, an operation state detector portion, and a popup display controller portion. The content detector portion detects contents belonging to a same time range from different types of contents each including time information. The display controller portion collects the contents belonging to the same time range and having been detected by the content detector portion. In addition, the display controller portion then displays, on a display portion along a time series, content-related graphical information of the respective contents collected in units of the respective time range used when collecting the respective contents, and displays on the display portion a selector serving to select a desired content from among respective contents displayed through the content-related graphical information.

  • Patent number: 7142890
Abstract: A method of three-dimensionally rotating a plurality of menus displayed in an ordered stack on a display unit of a portable telephone. The method displays the plurality of menus three-dimensionally on the display unit according to the ordered stack. The menu displayed in front is a current menu and the remainder of the menus are displayed in order behind the current menu. A menu rotation direction is selected and the plurality of menus are rotated in the menu rotation direction in accordance with the ordered stack. In this manner, the next menu in the ordered stack is rotated in the menu rotation direction to the front and becomes the current menu.

  • Publication number: 20060189345
Abstract: A mobile phone terminal is provided in which first and second housings can be set to open and close states via a hinge portion. In the case that the terminal is at least in the close state and an electronic wallet function is locked, when side keys, namely, an “F” key, and a camera key, are depressed in an authentication registration sequence, then an electronic wallet lock can be temporarily released. On the other hand, in the case that the terminal is in the open state, when a personal ID number is input by using, for example, ten keys provided on the first housing, then the electronic wallet lock can be released. Thereby, in the mobile electronic apparatus enabling the apparatus shape to be changed, a security function is maintained, and concurrently, the lock of the electronic wallet function can be easily and speedily released.

  • Patent number: 6968215
Abstract: Disclosed is a portable communication terminal device and a method of displaying characters and picture for enabling every user to swiftly and correctly input desired characters or correct input characters. This is achieved by way of implementing the following: When the inventive portable communication terminal device has entered into a character inputting mode, of those functional operations including shifting of cursor in all directions on a display screen and another operation to effect selection, i.e., an entering operation, shifting of cursor in the vertical direction via a jog dial is provisionally allocated to the shifting of cursor on word (or phrase) candidate lists and also to the instruction for selecting the corresponding candidates. When the designated candidate lists are closed, shifting movement of the cursor in all directions and the entering operation are allocated to the character-inputting screen.
