Abstract: A disc player device includes a tray transfer mechanism for transferring a tray, supporting a disc thereon, from a magazine, a clamper for holding the disc, and a clamper drive mechanism for transferring the clamper to a turntable. The disc is held by the turntable with the clamper transfer mechanism held out of contact with the clamper, and in this condition a playback of the disc is carried out. After the playback of the disc is finished, the disc is again clamped, and is returned to a predetermined position by the clamper transfer mechanism. The tray transfer mechanism, the clamper, the clamper drive mechanism are driven by a common motor.

Abstract: The invention is intended to simplify the mechanism of a disk changer. The disk changer includes a magazine body accommodating a plurality of trays therein, a lock piece for locking the magazine inserted into a changer body, and a tray transferring device for transferring a tray from the magazine thus locked. The tray transferring device serves to unlock the lock piece.

Abstract: The disk changer comprises a first rack member supporting on its one end side a latch pawl adapted to latch a pin, and a second rack member supporting on its other end side a latch pawl adapted to latch the pin, the first and second rack members being slidably supported in parallel with each other. After the first rack member transfers a tray by a predetermined distance, latching of the tray thereon is switched over from the first rack member to the second rack member. The tray is then further transferred by the second rack member.
