  • Patent number: 7605878
Abstract: A first electrically conductive body and a first solid body are located on the same side of a first base member. A second electrically conductive body is located on a second base member at a position opposed to the first electrically conductive body. A second solid body is located on the second base member at a position opposed to the first solid body. Even when a larger urging force is applied on the second base member, the panel unit allows the first and second solid bodies to receive the urging force. The first and second solid bodies serve to hold the urging force. A predetermined space can thus reliably be kept between the first and second electrically conductive bodies. Establishment of electric connection can be prevented between the first and second electrically conductive bodies. The panel unit keeps normally operating.

  • Patent number: 7394960
Abstract: A backlight unit is disposed at a lower side of a liquid-crystal display module LCD, and has a case that accommodates a fluorescent tube, as a light source for light incident to the liquid-crystal display module, a lamp reflector that accommodates the fluorescent tube, and an optical waveguide having an approximately square shape in the surface that converts linear light generated by the fluorescent tube and light of the linear light reflected from the lamp reflector into planar light, and inputs the planar light to the liquid-crystal display module. The lamp reflector is made of metal, and has stoppers provided at first parts facing both ends of a side surface of the optical waveguide opposite to the fluorescent tube, at positions closer to the optical waveguide than to a second part facing the side surface of the optical waveguide excluding the first parts.

  • Patent number: 7369123
Abstract: A first electrically conductive stripe extends from a starting point to an end point on the front surface of a lower base member in a panel unit. An upper base member is designed to oppose its back surface to the front surface of the lower base member. A second electrically conductive stripe extends on the back surface of the upper base member from a corresponding starting point opposed to the starting point to a corresponding end point opposed to the end point. The second electrically conductive stripe intersects across the first electrically conductive stripe two or more times. When an urging force is applied on the upper base member, the second electrically conductive body is urged toward the first electrically conductive body. Contact is surely prevented between the first and second electrically conductive stripes. The panel unit is thus allowed to normally keep operating.

  • Publication number: 20060125815
Abstract: Displaying by a display device is controlled by outputting a clock signal and an image signal to the display device. A clock signal and an image signal are prepared and stability of the clock signal is monitored by comparing a predetermined parameter relating to the clock signal with a threshold value. The clock signal is supplied to the display device only when it is determined that the clock signal is stable.

  • Patent number: 5295808
Abstract: A synchronous rotating type scroll fluid machine has a first scroll member driven by a shaft of a first motor and having an end plate and a scroll wrap protruding from a surface of the scroll end plate, and a second scroll member driven by a shaft of a second motor and having a scroll end plate and a scroll wrap protruding from a surface of the scroll end plate. The machine further has a mounting structure for mounting the scroll members such that the axes of the scroll members are offset from each other and that said scroll wraps of the scroll members mesh with each other. Thrust balancing arrangements are provided for attaining a balance between the thrusting forces acting on each said scroll member, both at the mounting structure and said scroll members. The thrust balancing arrangement includes through-bores formed in the respective motor shafts and serving as passage bores for discharging a compressed gas.
