Abstract: A side rock device attaches a first member to a second member to be openable. The side rock device includes a pair of lock arms, a housing which holds the lock arms movably, a slider defining inclining holes which engage with the lock arms and urge the lock arms to protrude and retract, the slider disposed in the housing, and an elastic member which elastically urges the slider toward a predetermined direction. When the slider is operated against an elastic urging force of the elastic member, the lock arms are retracted.

Abstract: A clip includes an insertion member whose cross-sectional shape is in a T-shape, having a head portion and a shaft portion connected downwardly from the head portion; a latch member in a V-shape disposed on an outer side of the shaft portion; and a hinge member connecting the shaft portion and the latch member. Split flanges, mated in a flange-shape by surrounding the shaft portion when both side leg portions are closed, are provided to be continued from upper end portions of the both side leg portions. One side of an abutting surface of each split flange protrudes to form an L-shape in a plan view and abuts against a corresponding side portion of the shaft portion. A retaining protruding piece extending from a side portion opposite to a protruding portion and engaging with corresponding side portion of the shaft portion is formed on each both side leg portions.

Abstract: A lid lock apparatus for a glove box is attached to inside of a lid to engage hook portions with the glove box. The lid lock apparatus includes a swing member a swing axis of which is rotatably supported by a lid of the glove box; a pair of lock arms, which are disposed in a symmetrical manner with respect to the swing axis, extend in a horizontal direction, and each includes the hook portion at a tip end thereof; and a subassembly member for bringing the lock arms close to each other and forming the lock arms and the swing member in a subassembly. The swing member is disposed in a symmetrical manner with respect to the swing axis and includes a pair of cam grooves extending with slanting. The lock arms include cam pins for engaging with the cam grooves to move the lock arms in opposite directions.

The frame member (3) is integrally provided with resilient leg pieces (4A), (4B) and (4C) which are retained to hole edges of the mounting hole (H). With this, the resilient leg pieces (4A), (4B) and (4C) to be retained to the hole edges of the mounting hole (H) on the side of the vehicle member are not provided on the housing (1), but are integrally provided on the frame member (3) made of resin material having greater toughness than the housing (1).

Abstract: A locking device for a lid on a box includes a frame adapted to be fixed on the side of the lid and provided with a cylinder lock having an eccentric shaft and a cylindrical retaining part for retaining the cylinder lock therein. An opening-shutting knob is pivotally supported on the frame and has a depressing claw part, and a locking member is provided on the side of the frame for locking a striker disposed on the side of the box. An operating lever has one end portion thereof connected to the eccentric shaft of the cylinder lock and the other end portion thereof serving to release a locked state of the locking member by interfering with the depressed claw part of the opening-shutting knob during unlocking of the locking device. The operating lever is formed of a synthetic resin material and has an elastic engaging piece integrally formed to the one end portion. The elastic engaging piece has a projecting part formed thereon.
