  • Patent number: 6076561
Abstract: A heat insulated hose includes a cylindrical member. This cylindrical member is formed by helically winding a laminated tape having a base layer of a foamed resin, a permeable coat film laminated on an inner surface of the base layer, and an air-tight coat film laminated on an outer surface of the base layer, with adjacent side edges thereof abutted against each other. A resin reinforcing member is helically wound on an outer peripheral surface or inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member in a manner striding over the adjacent side edges of the laminated tape. The respective side edges of the laminated tape is thermally fused with the resin reinforcing member, thereby integrally joining between the adjacent side edges.

  • Patent number: 6024134
Abstract: A laminated tape comprising a main layer of a polyester-series thermoplastic polyurethane resin and a covering layer formed of a soft vinyl chloride resin fused with at least one surface of the main layer is spirally wound, and its adjacent side edges are bonded each other to form a hose wall. The shrinkage ratio of the length of the hose in an unloaded condition is 25% or less relative to the original length of the hose as determined by measuring the original length and the length of the hose after the test which comprises subjecting the hose compressed in a longitudinal direction to ten heating/cooling-cycles successively, one cycle comprising a heating step for exposing the compressed hose to an atmosphere of 70.degree. C. for two hours and a cooling step for cooling the heat-treated hose at an atmosphere of -20.degree. C. for two hours, followed by returning the temperature of the hose to an ordinary or room temperature and allowing the hose to stand for one hour.

  • Patent number: 5975144
Abstract: A flexible hose which is formed by attaching a resin reinforcing coil member to a cylindrical body, the cylindrical body being composed of a nonwoven fabric layer which is formed by winding a nonwoven fabric tape spirally and connecting adjacent side end portions and an air-cut layer which forms on at least one side of the nonwoven layer. The nonwoven fabric tape and the reinforcing coil member are formed of heat-fusible resin materials, and the reinforcing coil member is fused with the nonwoven fabric layer in a body.

  • Patent number: 5918642
Abstract: A flexible synthetic resin tube is provided by uniting an inner layer of a polyether-series thermoplastic polyurethane resin with a hard synthetic resin spiral reinforcement (e.g. a hard vinyl chloride resin) or a soft synthetic resin outer layer (e.g. a soft vinyl chloride resin), through an interposed adhesive intermediate resin layer. The polyurethane resin includes a resin having a diol composed of a tetramethylenoxy unit as a polyol component. The spiral reinforcement may be buried in the outer layer. The intermediate resin layer may comprise a mixture of the polyether-series thermoplastic polyurethane resin, and the synthetic resin for the spiral reinforcement or the outer layer. This tube imparts an enhanced hydrolysis-resistant property to the polyurethane resin forming the inner layer, and an improved adhesive strength between the inner layer and the spiral reinforcement or the outer layer.

  • Patent number: 5899237
Abstract: An abrasion resistant composite hose comprises (a) an outer layer composing a spiral tape of a soft synthetic resin, where adjacent side edges of the spiral tape join each other to form the outer layer, (b) a spiral reinforcement of a hard synthetic resin for retaining and reinforcing the outer layer, and (c) an inner layer comprising a spiral strip formed by a rubber, where adjacent side edges of the spiral strip join each other to form the inner layer, and the outer layer and inner layer join each other. In such a composite hose having this structure, at least a periphery of the strip except an exposed surface to an inner surface of the hose is covered with a covering element comprising a rubber adhesive to the soft synthetic resin constituting the outer layer, and the rubber strip is formed by a rubber having higher abrasion resistance than the covering element to obtain a composite hose having enhanced abrasion resistance.

  • Patent number: 5884670
Abstract: A synthetic resin tube comprises an internal layer which is made of non-rigid synthetic resin and has a substantially smooth inner circumferential surface, and an external layer which is formed by winding a strip made of rigid synthetic resin around an outer circumferential surface of the internal layer overlapping winds of the strip and connecting the external layer with the internal layer, a cross section of the strip being S-shaped. When the external layer is formed, adjacent winds of the strip are connected temporarily and capable of being disconnected. After the external layer is formed, flexibility can be given to an optional length of the tube by removing the temporary connection among the winds of the strip.

  • Patent number: 4489317
Abstract: A cathode ray tube display apparatus is provided comprising a regenerating buffer memory, a row address table and a pointer. The regenerating buffer memory has a greater storage capacity than the display capacity of the CRT screen and stores character information. The row address table has a capacity storing more addresses indicating the rows in the regenerating buffer memory than the number of rows on the CRT screen. The pointer designates an address of the table for determining the stored position of the regenerating memory to be first accessed by the table. This cathode ray tube display apparatus is capable of scrolling and paging easily and quickly without changing the content of the regenerating buffer memory and the row address table.
