Abstract: The order management apparatus includes units for acquisition, management, extraction, generation, and transmission. The acquisition unit acquires, from the order reception system, first order reception data containing a plurality of items of data relating to an order for a product. The extraction unit extracts a data element relating to a predetermined item from among data elements included in the first order reception data acquired by the acquisition unit. The generation unit generates second order reception data including the data element extracted by the extraction unit. If the first order reception data acquired by the acquisition unit includes timing information that designates a future time point as the provision timing of the product, the transmission unit waits until a time point determined according to the provision timing indicated by the timing information, and transmits the second order reception data generated by the generation unit to the shop system.

Abstract: An order management device is connectable to a store station device and order receiving servers operated by an order receiving agent for sending customer orders to a store. A processor of the order management device acquires first order data in different formats from the plurality of order receiving servers then generates corresponding second order data in a format matching a data format used by the store station device. The second order data is then transmitted to the store station device via a communication interface. The processor also sends a preparation completion notice to an order receiving server after receiving a notice of completion of preparation work from the store station device.
