  • Patent number: 5011029
Abstract: There is provided a lift coat hanger comprising an ingenious damper that can be selectively operated with a view to decelerate the rotary motion of the arm and softly stopping it as it comes to the open or closed position, while the construction of the overall lift coat hanger is made rather simple and hence can be realized at a reduced cost.

  • Patent number: 4938322
Abstract: A damper comprising within a casing filled with viscous fluid a number of movable discs to be moved in response to the transmitted external force and a number of not interlocked fixed discs arranged in an alternative arrangement, wherein both movable and fixed discs are axially deflectable can maintain even clearances between the movable and the fixed discs due to the alignment effect of the discs without undergoing unreasonable stress that can damage the discs. The allowable limit of deflection of the fixed and movable discs can be made adjustable so as to modify the total drag of the damper. Sources of resilient restoring force may be provided to enhance the capability of adjustment. Moreover, the number or the size of the movable and/or the fixed discs can be made alterable to effectively modify the drag of the damper.

  • Patent number: 4130621
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a door catch including a main body made of a thermoplastic resin, and a magnet board for attracting a piece to-be-attracted of a door, wherein supports and a leg portion which constitute the main body are integrally molded of the resinous material under the state under which the spacing between the upper parts of the supports is expanded so as to permit the magnet board to be inserted therebetween, and wherein the magnet board is fixed between the supports owing to the shrinkage of the resinous material at the time of cooling thereof.
