Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes an extractor, a creator, and a sender. The extractor compares items of capability information concerning plural devices and extracts a capability which is not sufficiently provided in a first device but is provided in a second device. The plural devices include the first and second devices. The creator creates a menu to be used in the first device. The first device is able to display the capability extracted by the extractor by using an icon in a mode different from an icon representing another capability and to display device information which indicates that the capability is available in the second device. The sender sends the menu to the first device.
Abstract: Provided are a group III nitride composite substrate having a low sheet resistance and produced with a high yield, and a method for manufacturing the same, as well as a method for manufacturing a group III nitride semiconductor device using the group III nitride composite substrate. A group III nitride composite substrate includes a group III nitride film and a support substrate formed from a material different in chemical composition from the group III nitride film. The group III nitride film is joined to the support substrate in one of a direct manner and an indirect manner. The group III nitride film has a thickness of 10 ?m or more. A sheet resistance of a group III-nitride-film-side main surface is 200 ?/sq or less.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a pattern forming method includes forming a first film on a substrate. The method further includes supplying energy to the first film to form a first region to which the energy have been supplied, and a second region including at least a region to which the energy has not been supplied. The method further includes impregnating at least the first region out of the first and second region with metal atoms. The method further includes developing the first film after impregnating the first region with the metal atoms to remove the second region while leaving the first region.
Abstract: A waveguide sheet captures incident light and waveguides the incident light in a direction intersecting with an incident direction. The waveguide sheet includes a diffraction grating layer that changes a traveling direction of the incident light and a plurality of first light-transmissive pairs. Each of the first light-transmissive pairs includes a first light-transmissive layer having a shape with first concave streaks and first convex streaks being repeatedly arranged in a first direction that is a direction intersecting with the incident direction, and a second light-transmissive layer laminated on the first light-transmissive layer.
Abstract: A propeller fan includes a shaft part and a blade. The blade includes a basal part connected to the shaft part, a first part positioned either at the basal part or closer to an outer circumference of the propeller fan than is the basal part and away from the rotation axis by a distance r1, a second part positioned away from the rotation axis by a distance r2 that is longer than r1, a third part positioned away from the rotation axis by a distance r3 that is longer than or equal to r2, and a tip part positioned at an outer circumferential end of the blade and away from the rotation axis by a distance rt that is longer than r3. A relationship expressed as (?2??1)/(r2 ?r1)>(?t??3)/(rt?r3)?0 is satisfied.
Abstract: A skin material for vehicle interior includes a woven fabric woven by using a side emission type optical fiber and a multifilament as warp or weft, and is joined to a substrate for vehicle interior to constitute a vehicle interior material. In a surface of the woven fabric which constitutes the inside of a vehicle compartment, a virtual surface constituted by connecting side surfaces, on the inside of the vehicle compartment, of the side emission type optical fibers is in close vicinity to the substrate for vehicle interior, as compared with a virtual surface constituted by connecting side surfaces, on the inside of the vehicle compartment, of the multifilaments. Examples of the vehicle interior material in which the skin material for vehicle interior is used include door trims and roof trims.

Abstract: Provided is a reactor with enhanced strength. The reactor includes a coil, a magnetic core, an interposed member interposed between the coil and the magnetic core, and a resin mold portion. The interposed member includes a frame portion that has a first through hole, and a plate-shaped portion. The resin mold portion includes an interposed resin portion that is formed by a constituent resin of the resin mold portion being filled inside the first through hole, an inner side resin portion is formed by the constituent resin being filled inside a portion of a coil interior space, and an outer side resin portion. The plate-shaped portion includes an interposed wall portion, and a second through hole that is provided locally in a portion other than the interposed wall portion, and inside of which the constituent resin is filled.
Abstract: An applicator of one embodiment is for applying a sheet member to skin. The applicator includes: a body including a bottom plate configured to face the skin and a bending portion provided to the bottom plate; a cap being movable along a slide direction substantially orthogonal to the bottom plate; and an elastic member configured to extend along the slide direction between the body and the cap. The elastic member applies, to the cap, elastic force that acts in a direction away from the bottom plate, the cap being movable toward the bottom plate against the elastic force. The bending portion bends the sheet member that has advanced thereto in a pressed state in which the cap has been moved toward the bottom plate, thereby applying the sheet member to the skin.
Abstract: Provided is a reactor that includes: a coil provided with a wound portion that is obtained by winding a winding wire, and has an exposed region with which a liquid coolant comes into direct contact; a magnetic core that is arranged inside and outside the wound portion, and forms a closed magnetic circuit; a sensor member configured to measure the temperature of the coil, the sensor member including a rod-shaped sensor body portion attached to the exposed region of the wound portion, and a wire coupled to the sensor body portion; and a sensor cover portion that covers surfaces of the outer periphery of the sensor body portion, except for a mounting surface for mounting to the wound portion and at least part of a coupling surface to which the wire is coupled.

The blade includes a first area, a second area inward of the first area, and third areas outward of the second area. The third areas are located inward and outward of the first area, with the first area interposed between the third areas. The first area, the second area and the third areas each include at least one notch in the trailing edge. The notches satisfy the relationship “P1>P2>P3”, where P1 is the width of the notch in the first area, P2 is the width of the notch in the second area, and P3 is the width of the notch in each of the third areas.

Abstract: A transistor drive circuit drives a bipolar-type transistor and a MOSFET that are connected in parallel to each other. A temperature detection element that detects a temperature of a the bipolar-type transistor or the MOSFET. When the temperature is equal to or less than a threshold, the transistor drive circuit turns on both of the MOSFET and the bipolar-type transistor. When the temperature exceeds the threshold, the transistor drive circuit turns on only the bipolar-type transistor.
Abstract: An occupant protection apparatus includes: an airbag configured to be stored in a head rest or a seat back of a vehicle seat, and the airbag being formed as a single bag that is configured to cover a head of an occupant and including a front inflating part and a right and left pair of lateral inflating parts; a three-point seat belt device including webbing equipped with a lap belt and a shoulder belt, and a belt take-up mechanism, and the belt take-up mechanism applying tension to the webbing; and a control unit that, in the event that an impact to the vehicle has been predicted or detected, activates the belt take-up mechanism before inflating and deploying the airbag.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device includes forming a first film on a substrate. The method further includes housing the substrate provided with the first film in a chamber, and introducing a first gas into the chamber. The method further includes generating plasma discharge of the first gas in the chamber or applying radiation to the first gas in the chamber. The method further includes introducing a second gas containing a metal component into the chamber to cause the metal component to infiltrate into the first film after the generation of the plasma discharge or the application of the radiation is started.

The peripheral information detection sensor is mounted within a space enclosed by the wall surfaces, and a cover is provided on at least one wall surface that lies opposite the peripheral information detection sensor.
