Abstract: A display apparatus in a camera for displaying photographic information using rotating elements. The display apparatus includes rotating pointers which rotate about display scales to display the photographic information. The display apparatus further includes a control unit which receives camera control information and in response to the control information, the control unit controls driving circuitry which causes the rotating display pointer to point to an index on the display scale representing the photographic information.

Abstract: A camera having multiple display functions and/or a date imprinting function wherein the display can alternately switch between displaying the date and the film frame number. The frame number is displayed when winding blank film and the date is displayed at other times. The display also has an indicator which lights up or flashes to indicate the status of the camera power source. The display also shows the date and this date can be imprinted on film when a photograph is taken. The date can be imprinted whether or not the camera is in a date correction mode when the photograph is taken. A multiple function button is used to change photographic information shown on the display, wherein different functions correspond to different camera modes. Adequate safeguards are therefore provided by this camera to prevent accidental changing of information.

Abstract: A camera having vibration detecting sensors and a vibration correction function, with improved positioning of the vibration detecting sensors to reduce noise resulting from vibration components in the roll direction of the camera. The camera includes a retaining member which supports the image storage material at the photographic image plane exposure aperture and a vibration detecting sensor arranged to the rear of the camera in relation to the retaining member and located approximately at a center position along the width of the camera.

Abstract: An accessory device to be mounted onto the bottom surface of a camera main body in a general configuration having extended portions at both right and left sides of the lens mounting section. The device has a fitting surface to the camera main body, which is substantially same in shape as the bottom surface of the camera main body, and front and rear wall surfaces which are contiguous to the front and rear surfaces of the camera main body and inclined frontward of the camera main body.
