Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a dispersion, said dispersion comprising oleophilic fine particles containing (a) at least one oil-soluble cyan coupler represented by formula (I) (described herein) capable of forming substantially non-diffusible cyan dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, and (b) a water-insoluble, organic solvent-soluble homopolymer or copolymer comprising not more than about 20% by weight of a repeating unit having an acid radical in the main chain or a side chain thereof, wherein the dispersion does not contain high-boiling point organic solvents. The photographic material provides color images excellent in preservability, particularly resistance to dark discoloration and light discoloration in good balance.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, said silver halide emulsion layer containing a pyrazoloazole series magenta coupler represented by general formula [I] ##STR1## wherein, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a releasing group which is released at the reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; at least one of said R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is an alkyl group having a secondary or tertiary carbon atom directly bonded to the skeleton, at least one of said R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is a sulfonamidoalkyl group or a sulfamoylalkyl group; and the magenta coupler may form a dimer or more polymer at the position of said R.sup.1, R.sup.2 or X.By the combined use of high boiling point organic solvent and ultraviolet absorbent, light fastness and coloring property are markedly improved.

Abstract: In color photographic sensitive materials comprising at least one direct reversal silver halide emulsion layer associated with a diffusible dye-releasing redox compound on a base, the improvement which comprises that at least one of a layer containing said redox compound or said direct reversal silver halide emulsion layer contains about 5 to 200 mg per 100 millimols silver in the emulsion layer of a compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1 and A.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group, P, Q and R which may be the same or different each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a heterocyclic group or an --S--Z.sup.2 group, Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 may be the same or different and each represents an unsaturated heterocyclic residue which is photographically inactive when bonded to the hydroquinone through the sulfur moiety, and --S--Z.

Abstract: In a color diffusion transfer photographic element containing at least one dye-releasing redox compound-containing layer associated with a silver halide photographic emulsion and capable of releasing a diffusible dye as a result of a redox reaction with the oxidation product of a developing agent produced by the development of silver halide with an alkaline processing solution, and at least one layer containing an antistain agent, the improvement which comprises said dye-releasing redox compound-containing layer associated with said silver halide photographic emulsion being spaced from the adjacent interlayer containing said antistain agent by a spacer layer essentially containing a hydrophilic colloid or by a silver halide emulsion layer having substantially the same spectral sensitivity as that of the associated silver halide emulsion.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one hydroquinone compound substituted with one or two tertiary alkyl groups having 15 carbon atoms, or a precursor thereof. The hydroquinone compounds are particularly useful for preventing color fog or color stain which is observed with color photographic light-sensitive materials.

Abstract: Photographic dye developing agents represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents an anthraquinone dye moiety, X represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, at least one of A and X contains an o-dihydroxyphenyl group or a p-dihydroxyphenyl group as a dye developing agent moiety, n is an integer of 1 to 4, and COY represents a group which is released from the nitrogen atom at a pH of above 9.

Abstract: A color diffusion transfer photographic material which comprises: (a) a light-sensitive element containing at least one silver halide emulsion layer having a dye image-providing material associated therewith; (b) an image-receiving element capable of imagewise fixing the dye image-providing material as a result of exposure and development of the silver halide emulsion layer; and (c) a processing composition capable of causing development of the silver halide emulsion layer and containing a mercapto compound having a molecular weight of about 230 or higher; with at least one of the light-sensitive element, the image-receiving element and the processing composition containing a developing agent for the silver halide.

Abstract: A color diffusion transfer photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide combined with a dye developer, one of the light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers being combined with a dye developer represented by the following General Formula (I); ##EQU1## wherein Ar represents a divalent aromatic group; X represents ##EQU2## with R being an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, --NHCO-- with the nitrogen atom being connected to the Ar group or --OCO-- with the oxygen atom being connected to the Ar group; and Y represents an aromatic group having a substituent containing a hydroquinonyl group.
