    Abstract: A soft magnetic member which is formed by a composite of an organic object to satisfy a predetermined relationship with an antenna area, a circumference length, and a magnetic transmission ratio and a conductive member are provided between an antenna coil which is formed by at least one loop and a metal surface of the conductive member such as a metal casing. The magnetic flux which invades into the conductive object is blocked by the soft magnetic member and the conductive member so as to restrict the influence thereof.

    Abstract: An antenna for RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) configured to be electrically connected to an IC (Integrated Circuit) chip or capacitor and configured to be affixed to an article. The antenna includes: a planar conductive member having a first side configured to be mounted on the article; and a coil body configured with coil turns and mounted on or at a second side which is opposite to the first side of the conductive member. The number of the coil turns and diameter of the coil body are adjusted such that a characteristic of said coil body has a predetermined value. The conductive member shields the coil body from the article.

    Abstract: An antenna coil includes an air-core coil wound helically in a plane and a plate magnetic core member inserted in the air-core coil to be approximately parallel with a plane of the air-core coil. The magnetic core member is formed by a soft magnetic metal, an amorphous or ferrite, or a composite member of a powder, flake and plastic, or rubber. The magnetic core member is formed by performing an injection molding operation or a compressing molding operation of the composite member. Alternatively, the magnetic core member is a magnetic coating formed by applying and drying the composite member. A non-magnetic conductive plate that has a conductivity is layered on a surface of the air-core coil through which the magnetic core member is inserted. The conductive plate is made of a copper, a copper alloy, an aluminum or an aluminum alloy having 0.01 to 2 mm thickness. The antenna coil is operated by relatively high frequency while it is rigid relatively.

The antenna includes a rod shaped magnetic core member 16a which is provided to follow around the inner surface of the rear lid 12c between the ring shaped case 12a and the drive section 13, and a coil 16b which is wound in a helical shape around the magnetic core member 16a. And the magnetic core member 16a is shaped so as to bend around following the inner surface of the ring shaped case (12a), and is made from a layered amorphous foil material or a composite material so as to have a certain flexibility.

    Abstract: It is an object of this invention to provide a wrist watch containing an RFID tag which maintains a sense of luxury and has comparatively high sensitivity. The wrist watch containing tag of this invention comprises a watch case having a ring-shaped frame, a glass lid, and a bottom lid; a drive section which is accommodated inside the watch case; a display section for displaying time which is driven by the drive section; and an RFID tag which is accommodated inside the watch case and comprises an antenna and an IC chip; the ring-shaped frame and/or the bottom lid having at least one slit therein, and the antenna comprising a wound coil which runs along the inner face of the ring-shaped frame so as to surround the drive section. The slit is filled with a nonconductive resin, affixing the opposing cutaway planes together.
