  • Patent number: 7125218
Abstract: Each of impeller grooves of an impeller has a first bow surface that extends from one end surface of the impeller so as to have a radius R1, a second bow surface that extends from the other end surface of the impeller so as to have a radius r1, and a projected partition wall having a connecting surface that connects the first and second bow surfaces. A pump cover and a pump base are provided adjacent to the respective end surfaces of the impeller, and are formed with respective annular feed passages that are defined by semicircular wall surfaces having radii R2 and r2, respectively. The radii R1 and r1 of the first and second bow surfaces are set longer than the radii R2 and r2 of the semicircular wall surfaces, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20060118480
Abstract: A fuel filter and a manufacturing method thereof with which it is possible to prevent deformation of a filter element due to swelling caused by fuel, vibration of the vehicle in which the fuel filter is installed, or fuel pulsation or thermal cycling of fuel, and damage to joining parts of the filter element and end plates. In a fuel filter according to the invention, a reinforcing member is fitted in an inner tube groove provided on an inner tube, circumferential direction end parts of a filter element are both fixed to the reinforcing member, and the axial ends of the filter element and the reinforcing member are joined to a pair of end plates.

  • Patent number: 6923164
Abstract: A fuel supply apparatus capable of following the positional variations of the bottom side of a fuel tank through a simple construction and improved in terms of ease of assembly in the fuel tank. The apparatus includes a fuel pump body in which a filter-integrated pump in which a fuel pump and a fuel filter are integrally formed is integrally accommodated in a fuel reservoir having a bottom capable of coming into abutment with a bottom side of the fuel tank, and causes the fuel pump body to travel to follow the variations of the bottom side of the fuel tank so as to be placed in abutment with the bottom side of the fuel tank, by means of an urging force generated on the basis of the pressure of the fuel inside the fuel pump body.

  • Publication number: 20050118044
Abstract: A dc motor fuel pump pressurizes and outputs fuel at a pump section (20) fixed to a yoke (3) of a motor section (10) accompanied by drive of a dc motor of mentioned motor section (10). The yoke (3) includes a first tubular yoke (4) provided with a ring-shaped magnet (2) of rare earths on an inner circumference and a second tubular yoke (5) provided on an outer circumference of the first tubular yoke (4) at a position conforming to the magnet. • Patent number: 6453947
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve is constructed such that lengths of sealing portions, formed by a housing 8 and a spool valve 7 respectively between an input port 8a and a feed-back chamber 11 and between the feed-back chamber 11 and a core 4, are unchanged upon movement of the spool valve; and aligning grooves 15a and 15b are respectively formed between the input port 8a and the feed-back chamber 11 and between the feed-back chamber 11 and the core 4, whereby a smooth and stable pressure is constantly obtainable in response to an applied current even though a supplied pressure is high.
