Formulations of the invention may be used for the treatment of numerous conditions including for example, treatment of peripheral arteriopathies, treatment of acute renal insufficiency, treatment of acute myocardial ischemia, and treatment and prevention of sinusoidal obstruction syndrome or VOD.
