Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method and system for communicating transaction information through an application on a user terminal without a data connection using one or combination of multiple channels. The method includes receiving a payment pre-processing request from the user terminal through one or more of a voice channel or SMS or USSD. The method includes receiving encrypted transaction information through SMS, USSD and voice channel or through one or more of the SMS, the USSD and the voice channel. The transaction information is communicated to the server without using dual tone multi frequency (DTMF). The method includes extracting transaction information by decrypting the transaction information. In an embodiment, the server extracts the transaction information by applying suitable decryption techniques. The method includes communicating the payment pre-processing request to the payment gateway a financial institution, a non-financial institution or the like.

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method and system for charging a user to purchase the content, when the user accesses the online content to purchase the online content though a communication network other than data communication of an operator. The method includes extracting a Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number (MSISDN) by a server. The method includes obtaining an explicit consent from the user by a charging server for the purchase of the online content before initiating the charging procedure. Further, the method includes charging the user based on the charging procedure.

Abstract: A method and system for charging a user in real time for purchasing a product through a communications device with or without data connection is provided. The method includes receiving a purchase request from the user of a user terminal, while the user is in the midst of using an application for which the user desires to purchase the product. The method includes sending the purchase request through a call dialing a special number by the user terminal for purchasing the product. The method includes receiving an explicit confirmation from the user for the purchase requests before initiating the charge deduction for the purchase requests. Further, the method includes deducting the charge for the purchase request in coordination with a network operator of the user and allowing the user to receive the requested product.
