  • Patent number: 11549738
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a transport refrigeration unit is provided. The method includes providing an enclosure including an outer layer and a supporter. Providing the enclosure includes supplying one of a first material and a second material to a mold. This also includes supplying the other of the first material and the second material on the one of the first material and the second material that is supplied to the mold. Also, this includes curing the first material and the second material integrally that are supplied to the mold. The first material forms into the outer layer and the second material forms into the supporter. The second material includes a plurality of reinforcing fibers.

  • Publication number: 20220170316
Abstract: A deflector may be configured to reduce entry of at least one of dust or fluid into an enclosure configured to enclose in an interior thereof a plurality of optical communication connections. The deflector may include a first leg defining a first intersection edge and a first remote edge. The first leg may define a first hole adjacent the first end of the first leg and a second hole adjacent the second end of the first leg. The deflector may also include a second leg defining a second intersection edge and a second remote edge. The first intersection edge and the second intersection edge may be coupled to one another to define a deflector angle. The first hole may be configured to receive a first mounting stud associated with the enclosure, and the second hole may be configured to receive a second mounting stud associated with the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 10882259
Abstract: An aesthetic structural product is provided that incorporates high structural strength and high-gloss finish through a streamlined manufacturing process combining hybrid molding with an overlay of decorative film. The method includes preheating a composite sheet, applying a decorative film to the composite sheet through hot stamping, thermoforming the composite sheet to a desired shape, and overmolding desired features using a resin which is compatible with the composite of the composite sheet. The method may be performed in varying order, such as overmolding and/or thermoforming the composite sheet prior to hot-stamping the decorative film to the composite sheet.

  • Patent number: 9994084
Abstract: A bulkhead for a transport refrigeration unit (TRU) is provided. The bulkhead is configured to create optimal air flow on both a front side (e.g. the side where the condenser unit is located) and a rear side (e.g. the side where the evaporator unit is located) of the bulkhead, provide structural support for various components of the TRU, and provide a thermal barrier between the front side and the rear side. Also, the bulkhead is configured to include an access door and a service opening that allows a user to access TRU components located on the rear side of the bulkhead via the front side of the bulkhead. Further, the rear side of the bulkhead is configured to provide a removal support shelf that can be used as a resting surface or a sliding surface for removing components located on the rear side of the bulkhead out of the TRU from the front side of the TRU via the service opening by removing the access door.
