  • Patent number: 5379906
Abstract: A foldable organizer includes a number of panels hingedly coupled to each other to form a number of defined compartments. The hinged couplings between panels allow the panels to hinge relative to each other preferably through approximately 180 degrees or more. The organizer is foldable to collapse one or more compartments and the area of each compartment is infinitely adjustable so that the organizer can be adjusted to fit in different sized spaces. Expanding the organizer to its maximum allowable size within a given space keeps the organizer secure from movement. The foldable organizer is advantageously used in the trunk of an automobile to protect grocery bags from spilling their contents when the automobile is in motion. The organizer can be constructed from a single flat blank which is cut, folded and fastened or from several such blanks. A kit containing one or more blanks with appropriate fasteners is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5186905
Abstract: An improved chemical injection assembly is disclosed of the type in which a hollow cylindrical housing with an outer surface defines an outer diameter and an inner surface defines an inner diameter. The hollow portion or bore defined by the inner surface in turn defines a cylindrical mixing chamber along the axis of the housing. At least one entry port assembly is positioned within the cylindrical housing prependicularly to the housing's axis. The port assembly comprises an entry opening that extends through the housing to form a path of fluid communication through the housing to the mixing chamber, and an entry fitting positioned in the entry opening. The fitting has front and rear coaxial portions with a common axial opening therethrough. The rear portion is adjacent to the housing and the front portion is adjacent to the cylindrical mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 4584822
Abstract: A cushion packing material for use in protecting objects from shock and vibrational loads. The cushion packing comprises a dimensionally stable thermoformed shell forming a chamber therein of a predetermined configuration and having a foam material disposed therewithin so as to provide a molded density of less than or equal to 1.5 pounds per cubic foot. Preferably, the foam comprises a low density polyurethane foam. The dimensionally stable shell is thermoformed in a mold and is removed therefrom for filling with the low density foam. The cushion packing provides substantially equivalent or improved cushioning benefits in terms of dissipating dynamic forces at higher static stresses or loadings.
