  • Patent number: 9312784
Abstract: A variable switching frequency power supply apparatus includes a main transformer, a voltage detection unit, a pulse width modulation control unit and a switch unit. The voltage detection unit is electrically connected to the main transformer. The pulse width modulation control unit is electrically connected to the voltage detection unit. The switch unit is electrically connected to the pulse width modulation control unit and the main transformer. The main transformer transforms an input voltage into an output voltage according to a switching frequency of the switch unit. The voltage detection unit detects the input voltage and then informs the pulse width modulation control unit. The pulse width modulation control unit is configured to control the switching frequency of the switch unit according to a voltage absolute value of the input voltage.

  • Publication number: 20140319915
Abstract: A power adapter with proportional current sharing is provided to supply power for a mobile electronic device. The power adapter includes a plurality of power modules. Each power module has a power unit, a current-sharing integrated circuit, and a shunt resistor. The power unit receives an external power source and provides an output power. The current-sharing integrated circuit is electrically connected to the power unit. The shunt resistor is electrically connected between a power output terminal of the power unit and the current-sharing integrated circuit. When the power modules are electrically connected in parallel to each other, each power units provides a connection signal to the mobile electronic device via the corresponding shunt resistor. In addition, the current-sharing integrated circuits are used to distribute output power of the corresponding power unit according to the required of the mobile electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8063512
Abstract: A power-saving power supply apparatus with battery module converts an inputted AC power into an outputted DC power and includes: a Triac switch electrically connected to the inputted AC power; a Triac driver electrically connected to the Triac switch; a power microprocessor electrically connected to the Triac driver; and a battery module electrically connected to the power microprocessor. When the apparatus is idle or in low workload, the power microprocessor sends a switch signal to the Triac driver to turn off the Triac switch and thus shut off the inputted AC power. Thus, the apparatus is standby with relatively low consumption of electricity. At this time, the battery module provides power to the power microprocessor.
