    Abstract: A method for a photon induced conductive material deposition on a substrate is provided. The method includes steps as follows: preparing a first solution comprising metalate, metal ions, or combinations thereof; preparing a first suspension comprising nanoparticles, a light sensitive reducing agent, an electron providing solvent, or combinations thereof; mixing the first solution and the first suspension to form a first reagent on a first substrate; and emitting a light beam provided by a light source and focusing the same onto the first reagent kept on a first region of the first substrate, so as to form a mechanically rigid conductive deposition in contact with the first substrate in a focus point of the light source, wherein the first substrate has a second region exposed to surrounding gas or an air environment.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes an optical writing module and an optical characterization module. The optical writing module is configured to emit a laser beam and guide the laser beam toward a substrate. The optical characterization module is optically coupled with the optical writing module such that the optical writing module and the optical characterization module share the same optical path. The optical writing module is configured to emitting an observation light beam toward the substrate. The optical characterization module is further configured to determine whether a mixture of solution and suspension is in contact with the substrate. When the mixture is determined in contact with the substrate, the laser beam is enabled to irradiate the mixture near a surface of the substrate, so as to form a mechanically rigid material deposition in contact with the substrate.

    Abstract: In various examples, sensor calibration for autonomous or semi-autonomous systems and applications is described herein. Systems and methods are disclosed that calibrate image sensors, such as cameras, using images captured by the image sensors at different time instances. For instance, a first image sensor may generate first image data representing at least two images and a second image sensor may generate second image data representing at least one image. One or more feature points may then be tracked between the images represented by the first image data and the image represented by the second image data. Additionally, the feature point(s), timestamps associated with the images, poses associated with image sensors (e.g., poses of a vehicle), and/or other information may be used to determine one or more values of one or more parameters that calibrate the first image sensor with the second image sensor.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods to efficiently execute predictions models to identify future values associated with various nodes. A server retrieves a set of nodes and generates a primary prediction model using data aggregated based on all nodes. The server then executes various clustering algorithms in order to segment the nodes into different clusters. The server then generates a secondary (corrective) prediction model to calculate a correction needed to improve the results achieved by executing the primary prediction model for each cluster. When a node with unknown/limited data and attributes is identified, the server identifies a cluster most similar the new node and further identifies a corresponding secondary prediction model. The server then executes the primary prediction model in conjunction with the identified secondary prediction model to populate a graphical user interface with an accurate predicted future attribute for the new node.
