Abstract: A device, system, and method for causing electronic actions for categories of persons-of-interest (POI) is provided. A device maintains an attendee list of persons located within a given area using images received from cameras monitoring the given area. In response to determining that the given area meets a given condition the device: uses a current version of the attendee list to generate a POI list of POIs within the given area; categorizes, using the images received from the cameras, the POIs into given categories based on: whether a POI is being monitored by the cameras; whether a location associated with the POI is determined; and, the location associated with the POI, when determined; and causes one or more respective electronic actions to occur in relation to respective POIs associated with a given category into which the respective POIs are categorized.

Abstract: A camera includes an optical camera housing, and a platform disposed at least partially within the optical camera housing. The platform is configured to be pan-rotated about a first axis relative to the optical camera housing. The platform includes a first component configured to be coupled to a camera lens, and a second component having a mount configured to be fixed to an infrared module. The camera also includes a camera lens coupled to the first component of the platform. The camera lens is configured to tilt relative to the platform about a second axis different from the first axis. The camera also includes an infrared module fixed to the mount.

Abstract: A method and circuit board arrangement for an intrinsically safe portable device includes two or more circuit boards having a frame structure that forms a contiguous boundary around a space between the circuit boards. In the space there are circuit components mounted on both circuit boards, and a connector that connect the two circuit boards. An encapsulant material fills the space bounded by the frame structure between the circuit boards to exclude airborne material from coming into contact with the encapsulated circuit components.
