  • Patent number: 11887589
Abstract: Techniques for voice-based interactions are described. In an example, a device presents a user interface on a display. The device starts an operational mode of the device. The operational mode restricts voice-based interactions with the user interface to a set of commands. The set of commands is defined in a language model that is stored on the device. Further, the device receives, at a microphone of the device, audio data corresponding to a natural language utterance and generates, from the audio data, text data that corresponds to the natural language utterance. The device determines, based at least in part on the language model, that semantics of the text data correspond to a command from the set of commands and presents, on the display, an outcome of performing the command.

  • Publication number: 20240031237
Abstract: When an event occurs in the network that affects an information handling system in the network, a topology change notice (TCN) may be propagated so that the network topology can be regenerated. However, currently, there is no mechanism to readily identify the source information handling system of the TCN. To address issues, in one or more embodiments, when an information handling system (such as a network switch) initiates a TCN, it sends a specialized message to keep track of the source of the TCN. In one or more embodiments, information handling systems that receive the specialized message may record information about the source and forward it to other information handling system in the network.

  • Publication number: 20240031272
Abstract: Systems and methods communicate to a primary peer node a message that indicates that a secondary peer node does not comprise an orphan port or a link that is operationally down. In various embodiments, this causes the primary node to not send broadcast, unknown unicast, or multicast (BUM) traffic to the secondary peer node such as to prevent that traffic from being unnecessarily dropped at the peer node, thus, conserving computing resources, such as an internode link bandwidth, and significantly improving overall network performance.

  • Publication number: 20240028794
Abstract: In some implementations, a digital twin system may receive, from one or more sensors and at an interface associated with a digital twin, a first input associated with a first event. The digital twin system may determine that the first event is associated with one or more probable second events. Accordingly, the digital twin system may refrain from processing the first input for a period of time. The digital twin system may further update a prediction associated with the digital twin using the first input based on expiry of the period of time or may update a prediction associated with the digital twin using second input associated with the one or more probable second events based on receiving the second input.

  • Publication number: 20240022558
Abstract: A networking device credential information reset system includes credential information reset authorization devices coupled to a networking device. At least one of the credential information reset authorization devices receives a networking device credential information reset request from the networking device and, in response, generates a networking device credential information reset alert and provides it for display on an administrator device. Following the networking device credential information reset alert being provided for display on the administrator device, a first credential information reset authorization device receives first credential information for the first credential information reset authorization device from the administrator device, validates the first credential information and, in response, provides a credential information reset authorization to the networking device that is configured to cause the networking device to reset second credential information for the networking device.

  • Publication number: 20240011481
Abstract: A crescent member is disclosed which is configured to be in constant contact with outer and inner gear teeth to prevent unwanted fluid backflow between the gears. The crescent member may be part of a low-pressure fuel pump system for a diesel engine. In order to reduce heat buildup in the crescent member and gear teeth, the crescent member comprises a gap to allow fluid to flow within the crescent member to absorb and dissipate the heat generated by friction. The crescent member is resilient to maintain constant contact, but flexible enough to reduce wear from friction over time.

  • Publication number: 20240007877
Abstract: The disclosed technology can repurpose a corrective action targeted for an original network device as a preemptive action for other network devices that are adjacent to the original network device. The other network devices are adjacent based on a shared service plan, a common geographic region, or another common criterion. In one example, the system receives an indication of an anomaly (e.g., pattern of activity) causing disruption to a service subscribed to by the user device on a network. The system selects a corrective action that is performed to remediate the disruption. In response to determining that the corrective action remediated the disruption, the system can progressively search adjacent devices for the same pattern of activity and perform the corrective action as a preemptive action for those adjacent devices.

  • Publication number: 20230376803
Abstract: A system receives identification of a machine learning model, stored by a vehicle, that is ready for training. The system determines, based on a configuration file associated with the model, whether batch-based or live training is to be used to train the model and collects data for training, defined by a configuration file associated with the model. The system calls a learning as a service vehicle process to load a kernel and configures the kernel based on configuration data defined in the configuration file. The system receives notification from the learning as a service process that the training is complete. Additionally, the system validates a model, responsive to the notification including indication that training was successful, using a vehicle model validation process to test the model with live data before deployment by background execution of the model and saves a copy of the model for deployment responsive to successful validation.
