    Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a method includes intercepting a first task sent from a task scheduler of a first computing system to a second computing system. A number of active tasks initiated by the task scheduler that are being performed by the second computing system is determined. The sending of the first task to the second computing system is delayed in response to a determination that the number of active tasks being performed by the second computing system is greater than or equal to a predetermined task limit associated with the second computing system. The first task is sent to the second computing system in response to a determination that the number of active tasks being performed by the second computing system is less than the predetermined task limit associated with the second computing system.
